Happy New Year, and Welcome back to the land of Skyrim, specifically, the small village of Ivarstead.

Having had their souls swapped the previous night, and no memory of the event, Hana and Talsgar followed Amy to the bathhouse below the Vilemyr Inn. There, they were introduced to Aza. Unfortunately, after listening to their story and attempting to have her way with poor Talsgar (currently inhabiting Hana's body), Aza was at a loss. She asked them to give her the book they found so she could take a look at it, suggesting they speak to her a little later.

 

While they were outside, seeing to their bodily functions, Hana (currently inhabiting Talsgar's body) became a little to interested in her new equipment and, after a rather unfortunate accident, Talsgar stormed off, heading back to the Inn and leaving Hana to contemplate her actions. 

 

Meanwhile, Beatrix (Hana's lover from the previous night) awakened inside the black soul gem Amy recovered earlier, and began to plan how she might still enact her plan to take over Hana's body and get revenge...

Great Work and you do the word bubbles so well. They can be a pain in the ass depending what program you use too. :):heart:;):thumbsup:

I use photoscape, and I am super anal retentive about my word bubbles, both the dialogue and the placement. I spend way too much time on it TBH, but it's nice to know it's paying off!

I do really like the program, but it can be a hassle making my dialogue fit right. I end up doing a lot of rewriting and restructuring before I hit that sweet spot.

Alright, alright, I'll admit it - I am now obsessed with Gabby and Kenneth. ? Right after Amy and Aza they are my new favorite duo. You need a whole new series just for those two lovable guards and their (mis)adventures ?

I think aside from your dialogues (which provide each character with incredibly unique personalities) I absolutely adore all the details and extra effort you put into making character movements lifelike and immersive. Each of your panels has 2-3 different poses for every character, which is a tremendous amount of extra work but it makes the whole scene come alive.

 

Now, on to the story.  So, I am going to guess that the mysterious corpse that Gabby found really was brought there by someone "daft enough to lug it around for several miles" ?.  That being said, if that really is the same corpse, then Alfred looks rather attractive for a dead guy ? Is there any chance that Amy does learn how to reanimate bodies and we might get a hot undead follower for her? ?

Aza finding cheese that she can eat is still making me extremely happy. There's just something endearing about a powerful dremora gingerly holding on to a piece of dairy.  As for the glowing soulstone, either Beatrix is conducting some sort of experiments inside of it or she's just kicking it's walls really hard and maybe trying to burn it from the inside somehow.

And Talsgar in Hana's body...it's a train-wreck...it really is...and I can't look away! ?

 

Great chapter once again and I am definitely looking forward to more!

Nice job with the skin tone on the corpse, he looked very corpsey.
