The Troll and the Noble Woman

I made another cut-image book from a work by Temporal Wolf

(pic can be found on Hentai Foundry or rule-34 )

No they're not the same kind of trolls found in Skyrim... oh well.

The images on pages 5-6 aren't exactly in the same order as in the original composite image, because I split the 3rd panel there into images 3 and 5 because I thought it worked better with the size limits Skyrim books have.  The last image is also from TemporalWolf (Huzzah! and Whatnot), but is a separate, stand alone image I edited heavily.

Since it was a commission I should probably put the persons name as well as the artist. I did that for the last one, the Archer with the fancy arrows that bet the barmaid.

The story itself is nice and funny, but if that's not your work, did you ensure you had permission from its author before using it ?

No I never asked.  Right now its just a personal mod I've taken to posting screenshots.

As long as you keep it personal it should be ok. Smiley_jap_HFR.gif

I'm having trouble understanding the Berne Convention copyright that HF uses, so I'm not sure I'm limited to that.  The fact that someone commissioned (this) art and then let it be posted on a public site for all to see kinda makes me think that non-commercial reproduction would be allowed.  The irony that I first found it on a completely different site (which probably is ignoring all copyrights in the first place) kinda muddys the waters.

One doesn't needs a lawyer to understand that copying a story without informing the author is reprehensible, though only making money over it is punishable by law. It's not like a mod which by definition are meant to be used by players (though most also require permission to be used in other mods). Yet, Temporal Wolf could be open for non-profit sharing, till you haven't asked you can't know.

As for HentaiFoundry's policy :

Quote

Art and stories Copyright their artists/writers
