Does anyone know what should one have to do with Ivy' deathclaw head trophy? Is it something that must be placed in her cellar and if yes - how's that implemented?

You can drop it on the floor in a settlement. Then you can pick it up in workbench mode and hang it somewhere.

Or you can just put it in Ivy's inventory (she won't remark on it).

OK, so I already posted this problem on the main download support area but I figured I'd put it here also.

Started a new game and everything was going well, Ivy fell in love with the PC again and of course the PC professes his love back.

Expected Into the Deep to kick off, but it never did.  Instead, Robotic Simulation kicked off.  And in GNN, Ivy mentions that I have been "in her mind" referring to "Into the Deep" of course, SO, how does that happen?

I looked at the quests and didn't see any conditions on Into the Deep, and Robotic Simulation just requires an _ivy_Affinity global of >= 62 and the "has been companion" global I think.

It's obvious that Into the Deep should kick off not long after the first or maybe second "love" phase is initiated, because it's those emotions which cause her AI failure, and I'm wondering if the dialogue cue was missed somehow.  Is it a force greet at a specific affinity level?

I was expecting something to happen at _ivy_Affinity level 50, but I don't recall anything specific and then before I knew it she was at _ivy_Affinity evel 60.

if you drop it in a settlement, then go in to workshop mode, you can mount it to a wall

I have played with Ivy by my side for a week now, I love everything about her, can never have another companion, Ivy is the best by far, so my question is about the magazine add on, I have only found one mag so far, so it is working, but damn they must be hard to find, do they spawn at random, or are they in set locations.........

Hi Reginald

I am using Ivy 6 from 2 weeks now and finished the Nuka world quest, all works good for me, i just wanted to send you a big thanks on your awesome work you and your team did to create a so human character with this bunch of so nice unexpected features you implemented her. Ivy smashes back all the companions i have tried in the past , after the vanilla ones and just discovered Ivy ,honnestly i could not now back to another since Ivy covers my back, really big thumb up and thanks )

I just noticed an issue on Far Harbor DLC, i dunno if Ivy is linked to that issue, but when i start the quest with Longfellow to go to Acadia, the game crashes systematicly after the exit of far harbor  town. in the past i didn't had that issue, so i dunno if it is linked or not or have i to add something to make Ivy running good in Far Harbor DLC ?

Hey, "Stein construct" won't start, i found Holotape #4 in the Nuka World Reactor. Ivy keeps wanting to talk to me about Nuka World, but no dialogue comes up. Did I break the quest by taking her there without her asking? all Affinity  quests went smooth but this series won't start.

Yup.

You can try disabling the nuka world plugin, loading the game, ignore the warning, make a new manual save, etc.. then re-enable it and hope for the best.

Thank you, I will try that. I am going to try a save from before I went to Nuka, and after I started Mercy's notes. Hopefully I won't screw it up again.  In case I didn't mention this before, OH MY GOD! This is the best mod and best companion EVER!

Just finished the Ivy quest (Steins Construct) and I think I got a good ending (Ivy is still with me). I would have really missed her if things had gone bad (I delayed completing this final quest because I did not want to lose her).

The Ivy voice actress deserves some kind of award. Her work on this character was really excellent.

It is clear that this Mod was the result of a huge amount of work by your and others. It makes Fallout 4 worth playing again.

From a game design perspective, the Ivy character development was really well done and the pacing was excellent. I teach college classes on game design, game programming, and game narrative design (having done a bit of all three) and I would encourage my students to get and play this mod for the narrative progression, character presentation, and overall writing quality.

Frankly, the NSFW elements are what make it all work (Ivy's response to Sturges in Sanctuary when he asked for help had me laughing until I almost fell out of my chair).  I understand allowing an option to turn this NSFW stuff off, but frankly allowing it on made her much more interesting.

The intelligent and subtle narrative presented in the Ivy quests are a real contrast to the overall "professional" narrative and dialog found in the original Fallout 4 (corporate aiming at the broadest and least offended targets).

I am glad I played Ivy.

can you tell me what you did to get the good ending?

Spoiler

Always choose the bottom answer in dialogue during the Nuka World quest (when using the vanilla dialogue system).

e.g. the options like 'I'm there for you'.. 'we'll do this together', e.g. do not try to steer the dialogue, instead just 'be there' for her as she goes through this.

So Ivy has asked me for the Spare Secondary Backup Processor and the quest put an icon on The Crater of Atom but I can't find the processor.

Go there. Then follow the new quest pointer from there. It's in the Glowing Sea in a sunken parking garage.

If you can't find it, use the perk that shows you the way.

So I don't know what I've been missing or doing wrong, started a new game, got Ivy as soon as I got out of the vault and she has been with me the whole time.

The only quest I got were the Hypercombat one, some of the random "kill X raider who didn't pay her/hurt her" and the magazine rack quest after finding around 20 copies.

After several hours she said that she loves my MC and he answered back accepting, and that's it....nothing has happened for at least 2 weeks in game now.

She still is with me all the time, I regularly chat with her using all the options, but nothing happens....are the other quest like "Steins construct" or "into the deep" tyed to any particular trigger, location or level? (im lv52 by now but haven't gone to nuka World yet)

That is weird. A movie with end credits is supposed to play. Mods that alter/dothings with the GUI may be at fault here for it not playing.

You can try extracting the video file "ivy_credits_bik.bik" from the BA2 and putting it in the 'Video' directory, under the Data directory in fo4.
