I think it was a challenge to set it all up. I had fun figuring out how to do this, and I would like to share some of that with you, too. It might give you some ideas to set up your own thing. I'd like to talk about fixing randomly generated townies
If you have a new game, or a game pack that won't stop generating sims with the needed skills to fill special roles, then you may have a lot of ugly sims generated. In my game, there are about 320 sims (You may have fewer sims than this, I don't know how many the game needs) but it is a very long process to go into CAS for each of these sims. The fastest way I found to fix multiple sims in your game is by pasting sims

I have been doing some work on getting everybody's outfits looking ok. MC Dresser now has some more options for replacing situational outfits with the regular ones which is really nice for getting rid of the random-looking city living festival outfits. You can tell your sim is wearing a situation outfit by clicking on them > MC > MC dresser > and it should say something like Outfit: situation(0) at the top of that menu

Fixing up an alien is kind of a pain, but the new 5.0 version of MCC lets you copy and paste skin details. Now you don't even have to go into CAS sometimes to paste your sim's appearance to the alien form.
I use default eye replacements, viiavi-speckled. They are enabled for aliens so I can give them normal eye colors too.

This is Dr. Anna DiAnna from my GTW doctor playthrough. I enjoy all of the added active careers but I have to say that scientist is the coolest to play on the 1st try and had the longest grind. I still have a ton of fun playing the Police and Medical ones, actually I come back to play doctor most often
