  1. Hello, Four years ago I posted request on some non standard animations. I even started to make my own. Unfortunately with lack of time the project was closed. I want leave this work here on loverslab, so anyone interested could download and continue making contortion animations. Archive includes unsorted set of MAX files, which I used for quick versioning. Contortion animation.7z
  2. Hi Leito, A question. I see you are using furniture in some of your animations. Do you think it's possible to make an animated furniture too? Say I want to include very custom character (fantasy beasts, humanoids, cloth, tentacles, machinery, ropes, chains - you name it) and make it as furniture?
  3. Hi L4pserdak, There is actually 7b version exists of original Aradia Living Armor which converted by another author. I am thinking to port this and make the part of the Jellyfish Edition. Though did not contact with the author yet - it seems the time to do it now. Will come back with the news soon. c.
  4. I am sorry folks for the very long silence. It would be even longer if not t3h0th3r for his BodySlide presets. It's still the UNP family but is good addition I believe. Enjoy. Armor animation is quite tricky part. I already contacted Anton (the armors animation pioneer) for more details, now I have to find a good time for learning. As well as there is no time yet for CBBE and etc. conversions... Will see what happen next. c.
  5. Hi lostdaywalker, May be this was already asked, but how are you texturing the models? What kind of software are you using. I am damn stuck with texturing here - photoshop is way too uncomfortable for this. Looking into the Allegorithmic Substance products, are you using these as well? Also what kind of software are you using for creating UV? Thanks.
  6. Hi there, I have an improvement request. Since the earliest version, the "twosome, threesome, etc. like events" always looked a bit strange then NPC's are gently following you waiting for the rest. I would suggest this scenario: Once any of selected attackers got the victim it will start the action instantly. Any of 1 vs 1 animations should work. This will stop victim running out from the chasers and will give a time to the rest attackers. If any other attacker is close enough - switch to another animation: 1 vs [number of attackers close enough to the victim] Repeat step "2" if: [all animation stages are not yet finished] and [number of attackers close enough to the victim != the total number of attackers] Once all animations are done: disband the group of attackers, no matter if some of them was not lucky to reach the victim
  7. Hi pornphile, Also need a help. All these docs and manuals I found so far does not help in one thing. How to export animation so it would work properly in the SL Framework? Whatever I do, I'am always stuck in getting characters staying in "default pose". There is definitely I'm missing something. My test workflow setup of two characters as below: 1. Follow your video tutorial of exporting an animation. A few questions btw: - Should I select only one character, or both? 2. In result I get one HKX, which I just replace with Leito's work (sorry dude you are my victim today ). Specifically I just replace "leito_standing_a1_s1.hkx", which is a first stage animation for a first character (usually main character) 3. Start game. Trigger the animation. Main character stays in default pose. Second NPC does his default job as Leito animated. May be you will get some suggestions? Thanks a lot. Scene shot is attached below.
  8. Hello Raziel, I am quite confused with HDT bodies. Please could you link me the sources on that stuff? I got two requests (UNPB and CBBE) which I want to start working on as soon as possible. Are those two somehow different from the HDT versions? Hmm. I would suggest to morph armor in the BodySlide and then to tweak transparency and refraction in the NifScope. Both effects require a copy of the mesh (please check the jellyfish edition). PS. Recently I found it is still possible to apply EffectShader in the Creation Kit. Hopefully that is another way of transparency+refraction on the same mesh without duplicating the meshes.
  9. Forget my question, I was sure living armor was an animated armor. Just a dream... Not a dream at all in fact. It seems animated armor era begun already and people are making more and more that kind of stuff. Personally I am interested in this as well, so I contacted recently with one of the pioneers, who is also developing a special tools to speedup the process! http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27356-rel-animated-gauntlet-prototype/ Just have to learn whole workflow myself, that would definitely take a time. Yes I am looking into this too. Just have to find extra time.
  10. That is damn problematic. I got almost no hair on head trying to make CBBE conversion in BodySlide 2. I believe that should be easier with the UNP Skinny -> CBBE, once skinny version ready for release.
  11. Yes, this is a tweaked version: Mesh objects were duplicated - one per transparency effect and another one for the refraction effect. The textures were taken from Hermaeus Mora Caress and got an alpha channel modified in order to support textured transparency (ex. visible tentacle suckers) One of the NiTriShape objects were separated into a several pieces in order to support 3DSMax Export ... and of course conversion to UNP BCPB

The idea was to implement a refraction effect, so armor would look like a jellyfish in the end. Supported bodies: UNP Skinny body UNP BCPB Unified UNP for BodySlide by t3h0th3r Screenshots: Requirements: Skyrim Mod Organizer (recomended) or Nexus Mod Manager Installation: Download and run 7z archive in the chosen Mod Manager Select the body type you use Read requirements and place them BEFORE this mod in a priority list Activate "Aradia Living Armor - Jellyfish Edition" in your Mod Manager Uninstallation: Remove "Aradia Living Armor - Jellyfish Edition" from the Mod Manager How to get your armor: Craft it, if you know how to find Ruined Books; or Type "help aradia" in console and find ID which corresponds to the armor. Then type player.getitem XXXXXXXX 1, where XXXXXXX if the armor ID in the game. Known Bugs and Caveats: In some cases with the UNP BCPB you may experience seams at the hands. That is known issue and require a lot of time to be fixed. Refraction in Skyrim is very whimsical. You may experience invisible parts of the refracted objects in combination with a water and fire effects. While it's not notable - refraction effect is achieved at the cost of performance. It at least doubles the number of the armor triangles (two armor models are rendering at the same time). In addition it adds two shaders (one per armor model) - the first one is responsible for the half transparent effect, and another for the refraction effect. Working on: Gathering tools and preparing for making a 7b conversion Change Log: 4/23/2015 1.2 - A nice BodySlide presets for "Unified UNP" by t3h0th3r - t3h0th3r added a "NoHide Keyword" for the Devious Devices. Now it should not hide devices because of armor transparency - UNP BCPB package should come with UNP BCPB body now - FOMOD support for easier installation wizard. It is highly recommended to use Skyrim Mod Organizer 7/29/2014 1.1 - UNP Skinny conversion with a "Weight" slider support - A few armor visual glitches were fixed 7/27/2014 1.0 - Initial Upload Credits and Permissions: - authorship, ownership and all credits are going to Aradia. Please send your permission requests directly to Aradia - many thanks to Jexsam for retexture - t3h0th3r for his "Unified UNP" BodySlide presets

  14. I am also liking the jellyfish look, it's fantastic with the wet skin texture. Whose approval is required for you to upload this? If it's personal work and you don't want to then I understand totally though. It's based on Jexsam's work and is a test prototype. So if he allows to put this here, I will do this Meanwhile for production version I would like to contact with Aradia (thank you for contacts Prometeus) and ask for Blender sources of this armor Yeah I fully understand you I believe nobody made an animated organic armor yet, so I was just hoping somebody will start working in this direction. You mentioned automatic converter. What is this? Honestly I spend a full day to move all these vertices in the 3DS MAX, so armor would fit BCPB UNP.
