Help with texture (?) seam

Hi mates!

I hope that this thread is in the right place, if not, please move me

 

So my problems are some messy seam line sin the texture file of a stand alone follower i guess. Got that follower from a mod and his body was nevernude, so I replaced it with a nude body from another downloaded mod and this worked now, but ofc there is a seam at the schlong and the upper legs (you can see it in the screen shot).

What is the best way to delete it? I am a total noob in CK sadly

 

Before I tried to remove his underwear in Nifskope, i just right clicked his underwear in both files (malebody_0.nif & malebody_1.nif) and went into remove branches, but unfortunately after that he lost his hips and ass XD There was a huge invisible hole

From what I can see, the problem here is that he uses textures created for the vanilla male body (or maybe one of the older Better Males ones?) and you gave him a SOS nude body. SOS and vanilla/BM bodies are more or less the same texture-wise except for the thighs, which are different. That seam you see there is caused by that fact.

 

Either replace his body textures SOS-compatible ones, or use the SOS Retooled meshes on him (they keep the vanilla/BM texture layout with the SOS body shape, so they should get rid of all seams except for the one at the schlong).

thank you so much! indeed, he uses a Better Males body so i downloaded a new texture for him (in my case it was Tempered Skin for Males) and now it works!
