Scaling in the Creation Kit Questions

I have a question I had hoped someone could answer. If you scale up a static mesh in the creation kit, it seems to adjust collision accordingly. But if you do this to an npc however, the collision doesn't seem to automatically align to the new scale. For instance, you have to shoot your arrow at the feet of the npc or it will go right through them. Is there a way to work around this?

I don't know much about this, not even sure if the combat hitbox of an entity is the same or related to the physics collisions of an entity, but I'd take a stab and say that since NPCs are governed by Havok just like anything else and character physics are governed by their skeletons, aaaaand the skeletons are a little finicky about rescaling in-game; you might need a script for changing a person's hitbox.

This would be a good question for Groovtama or someone who has a lot of experience dealing with skeletons and collisions.

Oh, you asked how. Well, I 1st simply tried individual npc record but that led to the hitbox situation. Then I tried creating a custom race but hairs no worky. Attempted 2 ways to fix hair issue. 1 way sounded easier in tesvedit but didn't work. The form id list changes in the other method became overwhelming. So I have almost given up. LOL. At least long enough to play a few hours.
