drblackapple Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 So weird things have been happening recently. I've returned to skyrim, and learned I need to switch to Mod Organizer 2. I decided to wipe all my old game and start a new one for the heck of it. I'm having trouble with some mods, particularly Schlongs of Skyrim. I've downloaded it, but it makes no change and my player still has underwear and a hairy body. On another note, many mods that i know have MCM menus are not showing up there. The only ones that are are SkyUI and the skeleton mod. Also, I have SL Framework, SLAL, and a couple animation packs installed and checked, but when I run FNIS through its location in the mod organizer folder, it says 0 animations.. I think something's wrong with mods that I'm installing manually? I don't know. Anyone have any ideas?
Sladen2019 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 For Skyrim Legendary, you should be using Mod Organizer 1.3.11 by Tannin. It currently has an issue with downloading mods from Nexus using MO as a downloader. There is a HOST file fix you can use or you can try Mod Organizer 1.3.12 by Enpinion. I did the HOST fix and it works fine for me. You can also manually download stuff using your browser and then drag and drop it into MOs download pane or manually save/move stuff to its download folder. MCM not showing up can usually be solved by waiting a few minutes at first and then hitting the esc key and going to the screen that lists the MCM's and then exiting quick and waiting another 2 minutes or so. For using FNIS with MO, you need to point MO to the FNIS executable and then run FNIS from inside MO while MO is still open. Youtube Video for using MO with FNIS
27X Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Quote learned I need to switch to Mod Organizer 2. MO2 doesn't support 32.
optimus0 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 it does i am using it for two months and no troubles at all
Sladen2019 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Even if MO2 worked well with 32bit FNIS, the OP should still be using MO1. It does everything he would want it to do with no maybes or maybe nots involved, and there isnt anything in MO2 that would do a superior job than MO1 for Skyrim Legendary.
