RichterQ87 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 So, I recently decided to get back into modding my game again and luckily there haven't been a lot of updates to the mods I've been using so it was pretty easy to get everything back on track. Once everything was done, all that was left was to run SUM so I can run A SkyProc Patch without LOOT ruining my load order. However, there's a problem that I used to experience in the past when doing this, where several of my mods would pop up with 'blank.esp has some missing masters: - Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch.esp'. Thankfully, I had a way of circumventing this where I'd simply throw USLEEP into Tes5Edit, delete the 'Cell' field, save the plugin, run the SkyProc patch, re-install USLEEP, and it'd work like a charm. But it seems with the latest update to USLEEP, this is no longer possible, as the error message continues to pop up upon my attempt to use the same method. Which leads me to the creation of this thread. I hope that people who are still actively modding their game to this point have a more modern solution that still works. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Grey Cloud Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 I don't use anything which requires a skyproc but why don't you lock your mods in the correct order in LOOT?

Because most of the time LOOT messes up your loadorder rather then fix it, and I have it set to an order that works. Besides, the load order doesn't have anything to do with the SkyProc problem, I don't think.

You said that LOOT interfered with your ability to run the skyproc, I am saying that LOOT can be diddled with to maybe stop the problem.

I didn't mean that LOOT interfered with my ability to run the SkyProc, I meant to say that I was using SUM because it lets you use a SkyProc patch without booting up loot beforehand to 'fix' your load order. But if I were to use the direct SkyProc patch, then it would start LOOT beforehand to make sure my load order was 'correct' and THEN it would start running the patch. Which is why I used SUM, because you can run multiple SkyProc patches at once through there all without using LOOT.

I'm saying you can configure LOOT so that it doesn't ruin anything. I've no idea what SUM is BTW. And while we are at it, why do you need a skyproc in the first place?

And while we are at it, why do you need a skyproc in the first place? Duly noted. I just can't be bothered to mess around with LOOT when I don't have to. I need SkyProc for Dual Sheath Redux, NPC ReWeHeighter, and Immersive Children. NPC ReWeHeighter is the one coming up with the problem, but this used to be a common problem since 2016 with SkyProc, so that's why I need a workaround that STILL works.
Fifoo Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Myself I do not use SkyProc nor SUM - SkyProc Unified Managers so I can not help you more than to indicate threads discussing this topic about the problem related to the use of the tool with the latest version of USLEEP: SUM - SkyProc Unified Manager (by Leviathan1753) Unofficial Patches updated Unofficial Patches updated Where does SUM get installed? Some users bypass this problem by keeping an old version of the USLEEP patch, others turn to another solution for PerMa: Cannot run patcher! It's a tool that allows you to cleanly combine plugin files and the assets associated with them and it uses the xEdit codebase as an API, and can be used with Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Fallout 4. For the Standalone version you will need to install Champollion a PEX to Papyrus decompiler as required first. Unfortunately the majority of the links you've provided me with are either outdated, or did not contain anything I could use. However, there is potential at using an older version of the USLEEP patch for the initial SkyProc patch and then reverting to the updated one. Unfortunately, the older version I had, (3.0.10 I think), I've deleted. The USLEEP mod page only contains the latest mod, and Googling for an older version didn't seem to yield any results. If anyone could supply me with an older version of USLEEP (preferably not too old), I'd be very grateful.

I still have the USLEEP v3.0.11 (2017-10-29) archived, here: Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch-71214-3-0-11.7z Hope that this version will work for you.

It works! At least, the patch went through. We'll know for sure next time I boot up the game. Thanks a thousand.

Sladen2019 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 In all honesty, its really just much better to not use SkyProc mods. Better to try to find mods that do what your SkyProc mods do. No worrying about load order and no need to use ancient USLEEP. No high maintenance. When I think of Dual Sheath Redux, I think of XPMSE.esp being enabled and when I think of XPMSE.esp being enabled, I think of XPMSE weapon style errors spamming up my Papyrus. When I think of errors spamming my Papyrus, I think of Stack Dumps. Stack Dumps are really really bad.
