Simple followers without hairs and outfits...
Download any follower from Nexus and give it to him the YoRha cosplay set.

Simple: All female Nexus follower is may become 2B, A2... etc...

these threads have all been removed, the statement of the copyright infringement was confirmed by a moderator!
I do not think that this new NieR Automata Follower Mod long will remain at Nexus.
the mod description is in Japanese, but no word about a permission of the game developer.

The mod is not violate the Nexus rules because does not contain YoRha outfits and hairs!

You sure? I made a post asking for the A2 follower mod from Dint & it got removed by the LL mods cuz it was linked direct. Plus a music mod for Nier was removed from Nexus as well (tho I converted the soundtrack myself since then so I could play it myself)

HaHa, that's funny, even names, pictures, etc are protected by copyright.
I do not know in which country you live, in my country you even become for picture Abuse, punished hard, and believe me, it hurts!

A simple combination of a letter and a number  like 2B isn't able to be protected by copyright.

Perhaps it belongs to the mathematics who wrote first 2b+3b=A2. 

 

2b in America stand for "second baseman" in Portugal for a very popular music group, in Germany for 2B  a grading of pencil hardness, a sience fiction film released on the 2. Octobr 2009, in France  2B  is northern corsika distrikt , II B is a type of protein structure, "Aerocondor", IATA airline code 2B, a international diamonds classification  and so on and so on. Happy copyright processing. I think they can't win any of this processes, if they try. They would loose every process like Budweiser (USA) against Budweiser (Tschech rep.). For that we in Europe drink "Bud light", cause they are no longer allowed to use this name here.

 

Pictures belong to the artist, who made them, even the graphic design. If you copy a Photo you 'll get a problem, if you take one from the same position definitly not.

None of this discussion has answered my question on how this mod or other Skyrim Nier Automata mods are piracy, instead the answer I got was along the lines of 'it already happened elsewhere, you had to be there.'

Piracy is stealing something. If I rip a mesh from another game and put it to skyrim it is piracy. If i create something similar looking it becomes difficult, because the form is my work. Now the problem is how big is the idea behind it and who had it first. The haircut and the white haircolor isn't a big idea. Andy Warhole had it long before 2B. Ask your personal hairstylist. He saw that hairstyles first, 40 or more years ago. Blue eyes and pale skin are quite normal. The face isn't somthing unique or big idea. The name 2B isn't a big idea, cause it is used by thousands in other context. So it is for free, as long as I'm not a concurrent and do not try to earn money by creating something similar like Budweiser tryed in Europe. The older right wins. 

 

The special clothes design, I think is a little more a big idea. You are not allowed to copy clothes of Chanel or Karl Lagerfeld as well for any reason. The weapons, I dont think so, cause a catana is a catana and there are hundreds or thousands of this antic japanes design. You will find something very similar, and that antic design is free to copy. The same goes for the other weapons.
