NexusCron Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I have several mods designed to make vampire face's more appealing. I'm not sure if its causing this, or if other mods are. Every Redguard male that i've seen spawn gets a pastey white face, and either red or pink eyes. This is NPC's and normal Redguards. I've not been able to fix it. I don't know how. I've shut off various mods that influence how NPCs look and it still happens. I've installed new face mods and texture mods to try and fix it, and it still happens. What do I do?
NexusCron Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 For the record, It does not affect the females, only the males... Its..basically so strange. Their face's are paste white, not caucasian white, I mean paste, like the colour of paste I guess.
srayesmanll Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Always post load order (as requested in stickied thread in tech support section) when requesting help. Someone may notice something in load order that may explain the issue. From my own experience, I had an issue where the faces were getting basically the opposite look (white body/dark face, dark body/white face). This was only with using BBLS (bathing beauties luxury suite) and only affected the included NPCs. I had accidentally installed the optional Apachii hair options for BBLS before installing the main BBLS, and all of the NPCs for the BBLS mod had the reversed face issue. Uninstalling BBLS and hair option, then reinstalling in the correct order seemed to correct the issue. It's possible that you may have the same kind of issue - try install any face mods after the body mods installed. Also search here for threads about "dark face" and see what comes up. I know this kind of situation has been posted before, so there may already be a solution lurking in the threads...
NexusCron Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 I'm aware, and i'm using wyre bash, so my load order is..awkward to aquire. Its strange, this didn't happen before...nto with BBLS, and it was happening even with it off. So its wierd.
srayesmanll Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I use NMM and they don't have a nice way either of getting the load order either... My issue was very specific to BBLS, but I'm thinking that it could apply generally (reinstall mods doing the body first then any face/hair mods). You said this was happening to male redguard only? That really sounds familiar. Like I mentioned, do a search here for "dark faces". You might also do a search on the nexus blogs for "dark faces" to see what's there. Again, I remember something specific to redguard and dark faces, just can't remember where though. If I find it again, I'll post it the link here.

Just right click on either the column headers or any blank space in the Wrye window and then select "list mods". Copy that and post it here. As for NMM.....your are pretty much just screwed. Sorry.
srayesmanll Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 As for NMM.....your are pretty much just screwed. Sorry. Yeah, I know. Although there is supposed to be a text file that has the list, I've just never found it...
