Final fantasy 15

  Has anyone downloaded this Monster, and tried to play it.

 

1. I got it, or rather a friend bought it and gifted it to me.  It runs really smoothly on my system, I was surprised.

 

2. My system is a little older, I5-2550 3.4 GHz, 16.0 GB Ram, Radeon RX 560 with 4 GB ram.

 

so I was expecting some major FPS hit's, but all is good, and show's 120 FPS, running it in 1080P or 1920x1080 res

 

3. I am not that crazy about it, it is some what boring at times, but I was impressed with the Optimization that was done, it seems to be, so far a very good port over all, compared to some of the other FF port's I have tried.

 

4. Just wondering if anyone Else had tried it, and how well it ran for them. It is pretty LOL, I have to admit that. I find the camera angle's wonky at time's, and the dialog child like, I have not gone very far in the game yet, but all seems pretty good, as far as how well it run's, and looks. For Me

I have i5 2550, 32gb ram, but only a 390X. I don't even run it on 1080, I tried the scaling, but it seems to mess up the lighting at 125% and 150%+ is too taxing for my PC, although there's little difference between 150 and 200. I left most settings at the highest, except shadow only at high. Disabled all the nvidia related stuff. Indoor areas are no issue, as for the open world...it runs...ok for the most part...near the beginning area, ~45-70.

There are some locations with huge draw distance later in the game that tanked my fps to ~30-45 although it doesn't hamper gameplay since it is during the car ride.

There's one place however the frame rate goes down to ~25-40

   Kool! I have not gotten very far in the game, I have really spent more time in the Practice place, I have made it where you fix the car, and been just leveling around that area.

 

   I have the hair stuff off, and some other thing's, nothing major, but it all looks good so far.

 

I am sure it will show more problems latter on, just that It has been good so far for me, as far as game play, I was shocked, I expected it to tank my system completely, but it has not..

I can't wait for them to release the Dev tools for the game, as they promised they would do.
