spoonsinger Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Knicked from a steam thread "EDIT: Thanks to u/dakota0817, those who need to revert back to the old .exe can do so.“here's the instructions to download the previous exe. that was updated about 40 minutes ago from this postpress win+R, paste: steam://nav/consolein steam console, paste: download_depot 489830 489833 7780040377772731640steam console will show you where it has downloaded. copy the .exe and overwrite the old one” (ps No idea if that works as I have Steam updates disabled on SkyrimSE and Fallout4. )

Cool - well not cool but it didn't blow up anything. Anyhow the manifest ids can be found at https://steamdb.info/depot/489833/manifests/ I assume you'll want the 1298692161422189837 so the line should read download_depot 489830 489833 1298692161422189837 Edit - Ignore that number the one I just used for 1.5.23 was 7780040377772731640 so download_depot 489830 489833 7780040377772731640 (which is the same as the original stated number - Umm odd. Anyway have fun).

Unless it is now in another place!

Add -console to the end of the target line in your steam desktop shortcut. Then start steam using that shortcut and console will be right next to your profile name in steam in big letters that you cannot miss.
