dankmemesxd Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Hi guys, I've been wondering if I should worrry about my string count being 58k in the cell from Alternative start? I use crash fixes that prevent crashing when string count goes higher than 65k. I tried to reduce my animation count (because that is the problem), but I still land with 58k. Should I really reduce the animation count and other mods to get around 50k strings in the cell? I plan to make a full walkthrough so I am afraid of it bricking it at 100 hours in. Thanks in advance.

There are other mods that have huge string counts without having anything to do with animations. Honestly if your mod environment is stable and you have crash fixes installed I wouldn't worry about your string count, as long as you follow other good modding practices (keeping an eye on your logs for errors/avoiding saving any stack dumps/not changing load order or doing a lot of mod swapping without save cleaning ect). My current save has been stable for hundreds of hours and started with 61k strings in the LAL cell. Currently the save file is sitting at just under 70k strings.
