Guest Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I've been messing around with bodyslide and outfit studio and researching about this subject through loverslab forum posts and more but still I couldn't get it done. my setup is this, using UNPB REDUX PROJECT with bodyslide/outfit studio (overwrite). in Skyrim using Racemenu, when my character is nude and I change sliders from bodyslide morphs tab, the changes appear on the body like butt, breasts etc, but as soon as I put on a cloth or dress, the changes revert back to the original body shape. Is there any way to make the sliders also change the body shape while I'm wearing the clothes? p.s I've looked into guides like this but they aren't explained well or they're for other subjects, some of them are referring to older version of bodyslide/outfit studio which had different UI. so if someone could tell me a step by step guide for this i really appreciate.
DickTracy Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 If you have a body already set up, all you need to do is create a batch file that includes morph files. Just tick the box at the bottom of the bodyslide page which says include morphs or whatever it says and tick the one on the bottom left that says to create batch files, then click create batch files. . Then include all the clothes that are available to said batch file using your body file and click accept. Then it should go through them all with your bodyslide preset and when done you should be able to change your body size in game while wearing your clothes. I hope this helps you.
trasberny Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 it may seem simple and obvious to someone who has used bodyslide before, but I was where you are so this is the most noob friendly way I can explain. The reason your outfits dont change is because they are still using the old unpb body and not the new uunp unpb body you built in bodyslide. You need to build those outfits the same way you build your body through bodyslide. And to do that you need to find uunp conversions of whatever outfits you are using. For example: if you go to Gwelda Red Riding Hood Outfit and download the UNP version, you would also need to download the UUNP Bodyslide files from the optional list as well. You would install both of these mods same way you would in your mod manager and then go into bodyslide and search for ''Gwelda'' in the Outfit Filter (top right). You should see the a bunch of gwelda outfit pieces show up in the Outfit/Body drop list, choose the armor and choose the body from the Preset list you used to build your character, then build. You would need to do this for every piece of armour that comes with the mod, or you can select batch build to do them all at once. If you use mod organizer you will get a mesh folder in your overwrite, which you need to place into the original mod folder and replace the old armor meshes. If you are using something else I'm not sure how it works but bodyslide creates new meshes which you need to replace regardless of what manager you use. That should work and you would need to do this for any armor you want to adapt to your body in the future. This is how I do it and I learned it from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wkwtgp3x25s

In the video his previews have texture but in mine none of them have texture, just a default grey thing with no image written all over it...maybe it's a Skyrim thing? 2. If the outfit's name appears in the "outfit/body" drop down list then it means that outfit is supporting bodyslides, right? 3. I also use clothes/armors extracted from followers, how about them? 4. please look at my last comment, when I batch built them all but I don't know where the new files are saved? I'm using Nexus mod manger

I'm using Nexus mod manger 1. It doesn't matter as long as the textures work in game. 2. It means that outfit has sliders which will allow you to convert it to your body. 3. You will need to find uunp conversions for every armor you have. 4. If you dont batch build and do a simple build it should tell you where the files are saved. I suggest you try to install the gwelda armor like I showed just so you understand how it works. It's basically the same process for all armors though.
