It doesn't help that to implement any new animations in GTA V you have to reverse-engineer the entire engine because animations are handled... procedurally. So it uses already existing animations that weren't intended for that purpose and thus they look horrible in any situation.

evanovich Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I think because of 2 reasons 1. GTA uses a Euphoria Physics engine, Modders don't have the resources to use that engine? Too Expensive? Too Much Effort? 2. Those who can are not playing GTA, no one has asked them to do it.
rtim Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 At around 70 to 85 Gigabits large, GTA 5 is vary complex and requires more reverse engineering then any game before it and arguably after it's release as well, modding tools are getting better as time goes by but there's still work to be done before we can do any serious animation mods
