rockitten Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I am in the progress of building my new game rig (i7 with 6GB video card and dedicated SSD for games), I wonder, to utilize the full potential of the new hardware, should I switch to SSE instead of "old-rim"? I can see the potential of the 64bit engine which free the 3.1GB ram restrictions, but seems lots of "conversions" are still in beta or alpha phase, so it is a hard choice.
27X Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Quote too early yes. DL the mods that catch your eye, stick them in a folder somewhere and wait for bethesda's shitty exclusion of 32 to do its work.
Andukar Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Yes, its too early to switch. Small amount of conversions (but animations you can convert by yourself, easy doing with special .bat file, here on forum you can find it), animations can work, but such as sex with non-humans will not work + mods for mechanic of pregnancy and etc. isnt converted already. SE is MORE stable than Oldrim, as for me.
antediluvian Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 It's getting close, but it's not quite there yet. The sticky has everything. There are a couple dealbreakers for me on that list, but I tend to be surprised by how much has been ported.
