Atenos Aries Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Hello again all! Y'all have been so helpful in the past, I thought I'd ask for help once again. I want to build a companion with a custom face. It'll not need to be standalone, but I have a 'look' that I want her to have. The only npc creation tutorial I've found thus far seems to be a generic one with a generic face. I'm not looking to get fancy, I just want a basic simple follower that looks the way I want her to. Does anyone have any ideas I can look up?
Guest Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 try this or this or this the first one has some face editing, they say is better to do it in game via looksmenu and then us a face ripper program.
Carreau Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 I use faceripper. I set my PC’s face via looksmenu, create a preset, and then save. In the CK, I build out my actor and get it ready. Then I use face ripper to lift my PC’s face from the save, and drop it into the companion esp. in the faceripper UI, you’ll be able to select your companion’s base ID via the drop down menu. Faceripper will save it to a copy of your esp. After that, I verfiy the face was ported and move on. the reason I make a preset is so I can check in looks menu that the face did port correctly and it serves as a backup for users who might want to screw around with settings.
phillout Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 With AFT you can change any follower's race and looks right in the game.
Atenos Aries Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 Thank you all! I've only just installed AFT. I'll try that first before I go through the hassle of the CK again lol
phillout Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 In one of my play-throughs I used this preset to make my character look like Clyde and used AFT to make Cait look like Bonnie - just changed her hair color to red. Unfortunately, there aren't many banks to rob around, and you can only loot gas stations
