I need help with GIMP, When I add a new

nipple to my diffuse the old one's areola

still extends over the edges.

I want smaller nipples & areolas on my

favorite diffuse.

what can I do to make it so on my diffuse it

doesnt have the areola bits of the original

when overlaying these new nipples?

Use the clone tool. The one that in your toobox is on the center row second from the bottom.

Select a radious for it of 20 or 40 and then ctrl-click on an area where there is just the skin.

Then slowly apply it with just a click around the areas of the areola you want to remove.

you may need to pick new source areas (ctrl+click) to better match the skin color.

Either manually fix the texture by removing the old nipple and replacing it with skin.

Or...

Photoshop has content away fill, GIMP neeeds a plugin.

Never used it, so try to look for more info/tutorials.

I have always used paint-net for something like this so I just start paint-net and drop the file I want to alter onto it's screen and then I drop the file I want to take textures from and use the open option so it loads by itself. Then I lasso the piece I want from the 2nd file cut it go to the first file and paste it then move it to the spot I want it at and then use the little boxes around it to scale and adjust it to a good fit then repeat till done.
