Only just found out about this and its seems pretty awesome to me. (I've known about the game, just not about Illusion finally deciding to sell it in English and 100% uncensored.) It's finally happening! I hope this does well so Illusion sees their products are wanted over here.

It looks like a decent game but I'm getting tired of these "Male Protagonist" Adult games.This looks like a "newer" version of the Illusion games. Always the same. Character Customization looks good though.

I agree. The main point is Illusion are finally (hopefully) acknowledging there are a lot of people outside of Japan that want to play their games. I also hope Illusion try something new and different in the future, maybe they're under the saying of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."  Illusion's games are pretty popular so i guess loads of people must like the whole male protagonist category, i'd love for them to take a risk and try something new but keeping with the whole h-scene stuff that they're known for. Maybe in the future.

Yep, lets hope the sales are good enough so they either release some of their old games in English and uncensored (unlikely) or they release their new games to us so we can buy them and support the developers instead of having to either buy the game on a Japanese site and mess around with a translation mod or getting the game by some other means. I'm sure loads of people would most likely buy 100% English/uncensored Illusion games rather than resorting to the other mentioned methods. (That's just my opinion though.)

Oh! This is surprisingly nice that it's something we must applaud them for doing by stepping out of their comfort zone. The more they do that the more we should applaud them for doing so. Keep it up! Maybe they'd do the same for their newer titles, including Koikatu game they're making. Good on them.

 

I do agree they need to venture back towards AA2 where you can focus on male & female + yuri side of things.... And yaoi for the woman, or whoever you people roll.

They don't. Not even sidely at least far as my experience goes. There are no F/F stuff but I would like to see a similar work with a female protagonist with girl intrest.

 

I like Illusion's work but I'm tired of the same formula I want something new. I haven't see any good "yuri" or F/F games lately. Only some in

There are many Male Protagonist incest game with having only sisters as relatives quick example (Milfy City).

Just change the Male into female, rest of that stays. I'm starving to have one. Sister, Mother-Daughter incest.... It would be great. Not that I ever saw one... >:(

A few of there game did have yuri content. Currently the best Illusion for yuri is Artificial Academy 2. That being said, it's still far from enough. There is also mod for some of the game to make the protagonist female. Kinda work, but the animation is still those of a man.

After a delay, Illusion finally managed to get VR Kanojo released on Steam today. The game is trending and briefly reached the top sellers along the likes of Far Cry 5, PUBG and Skyrim VR lol. Illusion also have a Reddit AMA going, and when asked about releasing their other games to an international audience they said this:

 

"Actually, we've been mainly aimed at domestic sales so far, but from now on, we are gonna sell overseas as much as possible. But our older games might not be translated or localized...although it depends on situation."

From what I gather, you have to download and install the "Ecstasy Upgrade patch", on their website, to get the "missing" VR Kanojo content from the Steam version. It looks like this is the workaround to get their games on the platform. I guess if this release works out well for them we'll see more of their content on Steam.

I got the Fakku release (v1.0_h2) coming from a modded japanese version and i gotta say i'm pretty disappointed.

Their official private parts are "meh", penis alignment is better for blowjobs, but they actually managed to make it worse for other positions.

He seems to really like trusting in the middle between vagina and asshole and the shower and toilet events are completely broken now.

At least on my version whenever you pick the "force your way in" option his dick is stretched out towards the floor behind him and he just dryhumps her.

 

Here's hoping that they fix that in the future but currently i really cannot recommend that version.

Yup. In the end, it's more of a poser game. Main game is that of a high class redhouse where you get to screw all sorts of the stereotypical JP persona you see in anime using a fairly detailed CGI game engines. The screwing can be done forced or with consent depending on what personality you give the gals. Base game wise, it does turn boring but given the zillions of mods out there, it's what makes the game shine. The mods created by our fellow otaku perv programmers!.

when it comes to using the game as a pure poser/animation player (using reshade and stuff) i always found playhome to look a bit better.

but maybe i'm just doing something wrong / missing some essential mods considering most modders don't seem to care about playhome and still mod for honey select instead.

Well, I bought the game off Fakku a few weeks ago.  I don't like to pirate ever since I lost an entire computer tower because I downloaded Super Mario RPG for an SNES Rom.  That and I don't mind paying for content, so long as the content is good.  So, game wise I'm happy but its so "Vanilla".  Vanilla is nice and all but I need me some mods to improve the flavor.  That and I've pretty much have seen almost everything there is in the game.  This game needs mods like Lactation, futanari, stomach deformation, cum inflation, breast expansion, and all the animation to match those without having to go into the poser.  I'm not a poser person, I'm lazy and I don't have a lot of time for porn games.

I'd also just like to make a quick side comment about the comment from Stahp. Could we please refrain from bashing people based on their political views. It's just my opinion that it's not appropriate. By my low post count you can tell obviously I'm not a moderator. However, I resent when people bash all progressives, feminists, and so-called SJW as being extremists and not liking pornographic/adult material. I believe in equality regardless of demographic group including women's rights (obviously). However, not ever SJW is against porn anymore than every non-SJW is anti-women or whatever group. There are actually more differences within groups than between groups that have been backed up by many studies. Yet, the human mind likes to take "short-cuts" and just pigeon hole everybody into simplistic categories. I believe in people should have rights up to when they start interfering with other people's rights. Therefore, one can believe in gender equality and yet have no problem with what people watch or play, that's legal, within their own household. There is a legitimate debate about whether actually violent video games and those with strong sexual content actually decrease violence against women since, such as Herpman said, they can do that instead of stalking. However, I do agree there are plenty of people on the far left who want to tell people what they can watch or play. But, guess what? The far right is just as guilty with some (not all) religious right people trying to do the same.
