I hope that nobody minds me posting this in the downloads section. This is actually a link to a mod that is buried on the Nexus forums. But, it's such a helpful, basic tool, that I think it should be made more prominently available somewhere. It's so buried that many experienced modders probably don't know about it.

 

Anyway, it simply skips the intro animations and menu screens to go right into the last save game. For a modder that has to constantly load the game, this saves a ton of time. I highly, highly recommend this.
