so about sexout common resource...

Recommended Posts

I can't find it... seriously, I downloaded it from the site, loaded it into the package manager of fomm, activated it in the prescribed order... but I can't find it. It doesn't show up on the main fomm list, nor on the vanilla fonv launcher, and I'm fairly certain that is why I keep getting ctd when I activate the nvse launcher.

I tried a manual install before but that just resulted in a missing texture triangle, blue balls, and hours of waiting for steam to re-install it... I've since make a zip file of the clean directory and gotten used to fomm... except for this one detail.

I was wondering if anyone might offer me a load order that I could import via the function in fomm, the only plug in I downloaded and care about is the sexoutsex... its a video game, I like my sand box to be playable.

Beyond that I followed the directions in the "read this first" tutorial thread. So yeah in theory I did everything right and should be able to play this game, but in practice its broken and I am out of ideas.

SCR is two different downloads. Theres the SexoutCommonResources Data file and the straight SexoutCommonResources file. You need both.

Ok so I did that... and instead of a ctd on launch I got one at the end of the loading screen.

This is my load order.

Am I still missing anything? I'm pretty sure that's the right order.

Oh, edit, I'm using a previously saved game, not sure if these mods are save game compatible if that is an issue.

Well your loading the DLC before you even load the main game, common sense should of said that was the issue here. Your load order should be.

huh, what do you know, I did... somehow. Well I just moved it to the top of the list and I still got the ctd after the loading screen so that wasn't the problem. Or at least not the only one.

I selected the data file as the download path for the esm and esp files, not sure if that could be an issue, also as instructed in the tutorial thread I allowed subsequent mods to over write the preceding ones.

Edit, after some tinkering I determined what file tree was responsible for the crash, it was sexout, when I disabled all of those files it loaded and worked. Which is good except that it means for whatever reason I made a mistake in installing sexout. is there something I'm missing? Its a steam game so its automatically patched and I am using the script extender

Remove all your saves from your game folder and then try.

Exactly the same thing happened. Honestly I have no clue why this isn't working. First off, what about the mod could cause it to CTD as soon as the actual game finishes loading, the intro is fine, start up is fine, but right before the game starts, right before you wake up in Docks house, it crashes. Same thing with loading save files, which I moved to the desk top temporarily, I even checked to make sure the game didn't read any valid saves.

Second, is there some information I could post to help identify what the problem is?

Whatever other suggestions you might have would be very helpful.

Turn all the sexout stuff off then try again if that works just start with SexoutNG' date=' SCR, Slavery & Legion then add the other stuff one at a time.

Well it actually works fine with the sex out related stuff off, I've already tested that, also I didn't bother with legion and most of the plug ins, I just did sexoutsex after scr and sexoutng. Unfortunately that's what breaks my game.

I suppose I could try a different plug in or test the game without sexoutsex but first I want to play some fallout three, I have animated prostitution running and while its simple and the camera angle sucks I kind of like having a bunch of naked hookers walking around my megaton house. Especially that one who's a scavenger merchant that repairs my armor for free...

You have to be using the custom NVSE which is in that thread. If you have it try starting a new game instead of loading saves.

This one?

That's the one I downloaded anyway. It was the first one in the link that I followed. I was unaware that there were more versions than those on that page.

Ok I think you are missing prideslayers modified NVSE. The one in the link you posted is the NVSE from silverlock (the original). For sexoutNG version 2.5.70, you have to use the modified version that prideslayer made. It's located here (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5965) and is the attachment labeled "NVSE b13.zip". The files in the zip replace the NVSE files located in the Fallout New Vegas folder where the FalloutNV.exe.

Ok good news, and bad news. The good news is the game no longer crashes, the bad news is that I still get the stupid triangle error. Furthermore in my "experiment" with sunny smiles, she had two different shades of skin color on her exposed breasts, but no bottom mesh, with warped underwear, and there was no sex animation just her standing partially naked with a free camera, then a pink triangle and the after sex animation of me falling over.

If you know which mod in the sexout list is likely to have the missing mesh, or animation file, I could copy the contents of the directory to see if I placed it right. It was a few weeks ago now but I spent an entire day on it and the other mods I added seem to work, perhaps I am missing something altogether?
