ReMeDy Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 In the DA Christie Harness mod, I've separated the Harness from the boots using BodySlider. Unfortunately, it still uses the BODY slot, which is conflicting with some other clothing mods of mine. To rectify this, I moved the Harness to a different slot with FO4Edit, and it worked, but now the harness is clipping through my body! The harness is built properly in BodySlide. It's only when I save out the harness mod in FO4Edit that it breaks. I tried moving the armor to the beard slot, unnamed, torso, etc. and nothing works. What am I missing?
ReMeDy Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 I'm going to slightly answer my own question here. According to the creator of the EasyGirl clothing pack, "HighHeels / heelboots / Buckleboots NEED to include an own bodymesh due to their own specific foot-geometry, thus they NEED to be slotted to 33 (Slot33 = mainbody-replacer). Technically there's NO change possible." Okay, so does this explain why my heels+pants are on the BODY slot competing with my harness BODY slot? Basically, whenever I'm using high heels, I need to somehow merge it with my body armor to form a costume? If so, what's the best way to take clothing from multiple mods to form it into one costume?
Guest Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 import all meshes that you want to make a single costume in outfitstudio, load cbbe as reference, conform all adjut the clipping meshes with inflate brush, save project as: make your own folders, or if you want to replace an existing mesh then export the nifs with reference if you want just one costume with the body. in FO4edit make sure the slots are checked the same on both Armor and Armor Addon (the body slot) and nothing else is checked.
