Guest Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 There is a mod on Nexus (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68319?tab=description ), the house that i love very much. Unfortunately, the mod is incompatible with ETAC and causing problem to nearby NPCs going to the town and to followers to follow you into the house. The mod author is silence for 3 years and never replied to anyone question. Therefore I assume that mod is available for editing. If I would know how to work in Ck I will do the job by myself. So, is anyone willing to move this house from present location to another location in Riverwood as it's showed on the map? Please PM or reply here. Thanks.  Spoiler Â

Harvald Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I suppose the Navmeshes are the problem. What is your load order. Do companions enter the house, if the Housemod is loaded after ETAC. I Think a compatibility-patch or a patced esp would solve the problem.Â

If the ETAC isn't install, the neighbors can enter in thither houses, but my followers still can't follow me down to the stairs. I think the author didn't fix this.

Whatever is placed on that location is incompatible with ETAC. And there is no patch for it. To bad for I love that house and I wanted to place some NPCs to live in there. I can make them appear in the house using AFT command. There is always around way to do it but I hate when it doesn't work as it should. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

This house is beautiful, but the reason I want the Akaviri house particulary is because it contains the armor and weapons I can can't find anywhere else as separate mod.

When I check it with T5E, it didn't report any dirty files and errors. Few people on Nexus commented that the mod is unfinished, but the author never replied back. Â The things you posted in spoiler doesn't mean anything to me for I don't understand anything it says. Â That's why I said: I don't use CK because I don't understand that program. Using dictionary is not helpful and makes even bigger confusion in my mind. Since I like ETAC better than this mod, I have to get rid of the mod from my game. It looks like nobody wants to relocate the house. It's OK, I understand that it might be a pain in the ass doing it. I just hoped someone will do it. ;(
Uncle64 Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 CK is terrible, agree on that. But it is not that hard when you get in to it. Â There is also other changes to the mod that may make it incompatible whit other mods. Â It also changes the base of the player, adding stuff, not sure why. Altering some of the default follower packs. It may be that whats messing up for your followers. Â I think it should be oki to upload one cleaned esp. I do know how to clean, but not how to move it. Â The house I did talk about did also have issues when followers did have issues to move around the town. They could not get over the bridge and so on. Â The errors that I posted are ITM:s if you know what that are? Some of them are cell changes, those are easy to do in CK, it may be those that mess things up. Â
Guest Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 I hope that if a person takes the time and trouble to move a house, they might also enlarge it inside. so if the outside were 20x20 or less, the inside could be 240x680 and mostly empty (even dark). There is one house someone modded in Whiterun. They enlarged it! Yeah but then they added many useless things into the extra space. Â I got into creation-kit and removed some of the extra things, but I never learned how to align walls. Well, so that's my suggestion for a house mod, make it so big you'd never have to worry about modding it anymore.

After checking the nawmesh outside I could get Lydia to walk over the big bridge at least. And that whit ETAC loaded. But she did not follow inside. Sadly I dont know how to fix it, but perhaps some other may have the CK skill for it. Â And I must say the place for the house works fine where it is now, and it is cool. Â But there is other issues whit the mod as I did say before, he have used assets that you perhaps should not use. Instead of Copy them, he have altered them, like aaadeletewhendonetest cell.

In my game the house makes NPCs unable to access their houses. When will have a time, I will post the picture of it.

Â This is how access to Akaviri house looks in my game with ETAC regardless of load order. Â

There's a way to prevent people from wandering in- Faendal wanders in from time to time in the vanilla game- setting up collision box barriers set to _NAVCUT as explained on this page about editing exterior meshes http://www.gamesas.com/editing-exterior-navmeshes-t292652.html . But that won't solve the other problems this mod has. Sounds like it really needs to be cleaned up. It's a shame because it's really pretty.  Your best bet would be if someone would port the armors, weapons, and maybe the other cool stuff (I would so make recipes to keep those noodles and green tea supplied) into the house Winny suggested. Or, if you would learn the Creation Kit. I recommend DarkFox127 on youtube, he demystifies the CK. I've been following his tuts step by step, pausing and replaying if I had to. Go at your own pace and take it easy. If you're serious about getting the right gameplay, it's worth the time and trouble to learn the CK, because then you'll have a lot more control over your experience.  I'd try it, but I have so little time.

I'm using modular ETAC 14.3.1 but this house was problematic for all ETAC versons. @Daedric_Cat explained the problems perfectly. Although I love the hose, it's not the house I want the most, but armor and weapons from it. I spent hours to find them in separate mod, but nobody have it.

I started my house on vacation, finally a player house that I like. Now I have to go back to work If someone could put the armors and stuff in a separate esp, into a chest that you could spawn, I think that would be the best solution.
