Guest Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I have no idea why Loot stopped working after I installed ENB. I tried all versions of LOOT, cleaned the old LOOT folder, scanned my computer against viruses, checked my firewall and so fucking other things and I get the same message all over again: Help appreciated. Thank you. Swiftstep Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Prince, you should change the title of the thread. I was expecting someone having problems with ingame loot, not with the helping mod "loot order". Do you start Loot via NMM or MO, or did you use any other method? Guessing you started it via your mod manager... I must say, I am not experienced in debugging this tool, but I find it strange that the tool searches for new / installed games when you selected Skyrim. Is there a problem with the path of the game? And, since you mentioned ENB, does it work as intended?
Grey Cloud Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Not an expert here but initial thoughts: NMM/MO is not connected to the net hence the 'No Masterlist' Problem with permissions. LOOT is trying to access Windows registry according to the log file. (Looking for installation path and failing to get a value) Confused as to why LOOT would need to look for other installed games if it is running from NMM/MO. A new version of LOOT came out a few days ago. Is that involved?

It appears to have something to do with a recent Windows update: https://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/5042-relz-loot-load-order-optimisation-tool/&page=11 and https://github.com/loot/loot/issues/882

I LOVE YOU MAN!!! Was shocked how many people had the same issue like me and I wasn't even running LOOT via any mod manager. XNinja's link for Microsoft Easyfix solved the problem. In my case, github was problematic for LOOT couldn't log to the site. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Guest Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 @Grey Cloud and @Swiftstep - thanks for trying to help. Yes, ENB works as it should.
