Sexy walk from armbinder ?

Hi, what's the sexy walk when a character wear an armbinder (from Devious Devices) ? Are there other clothes/devices which provoke this kind of walk ?

Hi, if I understood your question correctly, you're asking for technical background of the bound-wrists walk? In that case:

 

The "Armbinder Walk" is a FNIS Alternate Animation set that works like FNIS Sexy Moves. It is a custom made set of animations (walk, run, sneak, etc.) that gets applied to the character (player, NPC) via script/FNIS. When the armbinder (straitjacket, yoke, ...) gets equipped, the new animations take over, and when the item gets unequipped, the previous anims (Skyrim default or another mod like FNIS sexy moves) get reinstated. I don't know of anything not in the DD mods that use those anims, but un theory it should be possible to use that anim set in another Armor item by replicating the setup of the DD armbinders in the CK -- but then I think you'd be stuck with the hands in the bound position.

Thanks but do you know other devices than Arminder which lead to this animation ? (or a way to assign a walk-animation to one NPC in particular) ?

Hi.. if you are still here.. do you know how to manually assign this animations (via console or maybe some other way)? Thing is - I'm using the exactly forementioned FNIS Sexy Moves and when an NPC with an armbinder equiped starts walking - her arms are out of it and to make things even more creepier - they are without hands :)

Hi, yeah, still here (sort of).

 

I don't know of a way to assign FNIS anims via console or any other in-game methods. In the case of the DD arm restraints, equipping them is the only way to trigger the animations. And last time I checked, which was a few years ago, FNIS Sexy Moves conflicts with DD and overrides DD's movement anims (especially on NPCs) with the effects being just what you described. The only way I found to fix this back then was to start a new game without FNIS SexyMoves. There may be better solutions now but I don't know of them.

You can use the mod Dynamic Animation Replacer, but the overall issue is that you have multiple mods fighting over the same thing (control of the animation type).  I think you could set up custom conditions with DAR to use the animation sets you want and bypass all of that, but those mods are still fighting in the background, even if something else is taking over (now a third mod is fighting, but I think DAR wins that fight most of the time).

 

Main issue is that FNIS Sexy Move would need to be tweaked to not touch a character that has DD effects, and that would take modding, and maybe some scripting to do.
