Xaqq Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Okay my skyrim sexlab for the last 6 months was giving me this error whenever I loaded into the game: Now i didnt bother to fix it for a while because my skyrim sexlab was working fine even though it kept giving me this same error everytime i loaded into teh game. This was until i found out even though my sexlab was operational, I could not add any new sexlab animations through SLAL, it was as if my sexlab was frozen in time. So 6months later i finally decided to buckle down and fix this. I tried reinstalling SKYUI but that didnt fix it. It's weird cuz skyui worked 100% fine with no issues and no problems from other mods. Only sexlab was having issues. So i tried doing the manual rebuild and clean "clean system" button in the Sexlab MCM, but that just didnt fix shit either. still gave me issues on load and now my sexlab has ZERO animations and voice files (which it hsould not happen considering that sexlab has defualt anims in place). This was all After i did clean system^ so then i decided to save this, and do a clean save to reinstall sexlab. So I saved the game after the clean system and USED SCRIPT CLEANER to clean the save of orphan scripts. So i deleted all Sexlab related mods and finally tried to load that save where I cleaned system for sexlab---- the save will refuse to load now. Without sexlab installed skyrim crashes out of the load. In fact, Any previous saves with sexlab will not load either without sexlab. ______________________________________________________________________________ So now I decided to load a new game and this happens: This is an odd error because I have no sexlab mods left, I deleted all animations, voice files, and anything related to the sort. I even went into tes5edit and checked if any mods referenced "sexlab.esm" but nothing showed up. I even made sure to install sexlab last and the only thing it overwrote was Papyrus Util. nothing else. I'm at a complete loss here.
EmiliaElis Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Try re-installing Sexlab and SkyUI. And are you positive you are using the newest versions for them?
EmiliaElis Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 And if it is an old save, most likely you will not be able to use it. Or you will need to re download all the same mods for it to work.

Even upon new save nothing works for sexlab. Im also looking to do a total transition to Mod organizer from NMM, do you know any guides on that?
SuperNixon Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 I've gotten the file integrity error several times before. It seems to happen when I load a lot of mods with sexlab on a save where I haven't used sexlab before (for example loading sexlab, slaverun and several of its soft dependencies, wet function, etc. all at once). What fixes it for me is just waiting a few seconds without any menus open after mcm has registered all mods (stand around in game). Afterwards I hit esc and mod configuration and check again. Usually clears itself up. Of course this assumes everything is installed correctly. If not you might be getting the error for another reason.

donttouchmethere Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 "I even made sure to install sexlab last and the only thing it overwrote was Papyrus Util. nothing else. " This should be the other way around: 1. Sexlab 2. Papyrus Util v3.3 overwriting Sexlab IIRC Sexlab v1.62 incl Papyrus Util v3.2, thats why you overwrite it with v3.3 Hints: > If you use NMM its important that you remember the order you overwrite modfiles => if you deinstall or upgrade a mod lower in the overwrite hierarchy you have to uninstall all other mods that have overwritten that mod. NMM will write protect folders of mods lower in the overwrite hierarchy -> means if you reinstall a overwritten mod to upgrade -> not all new files/folders will be installed (and you get no warning) > sometimes its better to completely remove a mod (zip file) from NMM (if you get error messages like "cant install c:") and than add it again to NMM before reinstallation (and after restarting NMM) > if you deinstall a mod and you want to install a mod that uses same folders: 1. deinstall old mod 2. close and restart NMM (this removes/updates the NMM folder protection) 3. install the new mod > the reinstall option of NMM doesnt works well, best to deactivate the mod -> close NMM and restart -> install the mod again > make sure NMM has administrator rights and your skyrim is not installed in C:/program files. Windows likes to protect those folders and if you install with NMM, mod files might not get installed (and again NMM wont give you a warning) hope that helps a little

Windows likes to protect those folders and if you install with NMM, mod files might not get installed (and again NMM wont give you a warning) hope that helps a little i knew it was NMM issues god fucking damnit. NMM constantly doesnt uninstall shit and often gives me those "cant install" errors. the shitty thing wont even give me an error or notification if something was not fully uninstalled. I'd find left over shit i clearly uninstalled ages ago still left in my files clearly there. And i have skyrim installed in C Drive FUCKKKK MEEE i have over 4 years of modding on this skyrim installation and i feel too damn scared to transfer it over. I might need ot od a fresh install at this point. there are just too many mods and variables. Looking into tes5edit i see no mods that reference sexlab.esm so is there a possibility that it may be a left over mod that was still not uninstalled properly that is hiding behind everything and interfereing/overwriting sexlab? And also are you saying htat i should just totally uninstall completely (no just deactivate) all sexlab related mods because NMM issues? so is deactivation sometimes actually not enough?
donttouchmethere Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 NMM options: > INSTALL AND ACTIVATE: to install the mod best used in combo with uninstall instead of deactivate > DEACTIVATE: is not enough, after i had a lot of issues with that function, so i never use it anymore. As i understand it -> mod files will be left installed in the skyrim directory for a quick install later, they just get deactivated. But as soon as you overwrite mods or install/remove something manually in the same folders/files -> your in a world of pain^^ Its better to uninstall mods you dont use, especially if you want to be sure that they are removed from the skyrimfolder, but you want to keep the mod zip file in the NMM folder. > REINSTALL: use only with mods that arent overwritten by other mods. better to uninstall -> restart NMM -> install again > UNINSTALL or DELETE: >> FROM ACTIVE PROFILE only use this if you have different profiles, if not best to use uninstall from all profiles use this instead of deactivate mod will be removed from skyrim directory, but NMM will keep the mod zip file for reinstall >>FROM ALL PROFILES this is my NMM uninstall standard use this instead of deactivate >> DELETE MOD (permanently) AND UNINSTALL if you want to deinstall a mod and also remove the mod zip file from NMM directory " NMM constantly doesnt uninstall shit and often gives me those "cant install" errors. " Thats more a windows issue if you have installed skyrim in windows program files folder windows protects those folders and NMM cant write/remove files from there (although sometimes it works, but you can never be sure) Its a good idea to remove skyrim and NMM folders from your virus scan too AND: if you run FNIS you have to use it with administrator rights (always) if you have installed skyrim in "program files"

I have no idea if maybe htis has happened already multiple times without me knowing the past 3 years. Im fucked. I might as well start a new skyrim at this point. 500 mods down teh drain. GG. the thought of having to resetup my bodyslide setup with SMP is a nightmare. FUCK. ME. So how do i disable firewall on nmm and skyrim?
donttouchmethere Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 " Its a good idea to remove skyrim and NMM folders from your virus scan too " => this has nothing to do with your firewall your virus scanner will check files on your HD or in RAM while they get moved around or get activated mod installation and working mods might get misinterpreted as viruses to prevent that you can tell your anti virus progam to make exceptions for skyrim and NMM folders, basically telling it to stop searching for viruses in those folders and to prevent a slow down of reading writing during gameplay and installation from mods this option is found in most virus scanner in settings those 500 mods wont go down the drain, you can just make a backup of those from this folder: nexus mod manager -> skyrim -> mods just copy all those zip files and move them to another place till you are finish moving your skyrim and NNM installation and a new install is a good time to update old mods, NMM not always shows the most recent aviable mod version after 4 years there must be some changes xD it might be even possible to save your NMM categories from here: nexus mod manager -> skyrim -> mods -> categories just copy the categories.xml and move it in the same folder on your fesh NMM install if you move skyrim you might want to make a backup from the *.ini: skyrim.ini /skyrimpref.ini configuration (found in your user files there your saves are located) enboost configuration racemenu configuration or other configuration files you have modified or your start completely new and use mod organizer, this will give you more control over what you do, but has a bit of a learning curve i dont know what SMP is but maybe you can copy those smp configuration files too from the bodyslide folder?

I think i might wanna make a switch to MO, but im not sure how to do it. Is there an up to date guide? and SMP is skinned mesh physics, it's the superior version of HDT but requires insanely good rig and hours upon hours of manual tweaking and tears of frustration.
donttouchmethere Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 i mainly use NMM to install mods (and i change my load order up to 4 times a month or more) after one year i messed up my skyrim installation so much that i am rebuilding my skyrim right now (to many files installed/modified manually and forgot about it), and yes it takes a while procrastination FTW i play around with MO a bit on my laptop, learing from youtube videos from GOPHER SMP = frustration? hehe, have that just from the compatibility issues from regular LL/nexus mods ^^
