DenjiXMakima Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Hey there, I wanted to ask you guys how you take your skyrim screenshots, using the steam / game function itself is not an option since it's buggy. So I am using fraps since always, I am not happy with it though, since fraps seems to ignore/recolor the pictures. I mean, the colors of the pics do not look exactly like presented in my game with enb. I rather would use a program which takes exactly the pic I see ingame. Hope you got some expierience / suggestions.
FauxFurry Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 If you are using an Nvidia graphics card, you can use Shadowplay. It is almost identical to what one sees in game and it is has low to no performance impact when active even when recording full video.

Guest Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I use ENB's screenshot feature. It saves screenshots as .bmp's so compression, if any, isn't noticeable.

myuhinny Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 @Artsick You can change that so that steam doesn't save your screenshots in .BMP format mine are saved in .JPG. You can take screenshots with I think it's F12 for the top keys. I have a gaming keyboard so I use the G12 key instead as it's right there by my left hand and easier to hit.

Javascript key codes can be found here if you want to change a keybind. It saves your screenshots to your Skyrim folder. 17 minutes ago, myuhinny said: @Artsick You can change that so that steam doesn't save your screenshots in .BMP format mine are saved in .JPG. Steam's screenshot compression is terrible, but yeah, you can choose to save an extra uncompressed copy of each screenshot if you want. Given my screenshot content, I'd prefer to keep away from Steam anyway lol I've just found it easier to take all my screenshots and export them as jpgs through GIMP. The compression reduces file sizes to below 1.5mb and there's no artifacting or bleaching of the image that way. Image hosts do most of the damage after that lol
myuhinny Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I use steam for my screenshots futa's different types of sex scenes including creature sex lot of nude screenies. Only you can see them.
