AWKCR Problems

Maybe someone here knows a fix. Im trying to use the AWKCR (Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource) and whenever i try to craft anything i get stuck in the menu when i cant back out using Tab and Esc. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod and making sure F4SE is up to date but i keep getting stuck

Sounds interesting. On which workbench(es) does this happen?

Anyway, sounds more of a load order issue something else might collide with the workbenches?

Did you check the FAQ or recurring questions on the mod page?

 

Most likely you have a mod installed that comes with an outdated version of AWKCR.

Hotfix should be to copy over the latest AWKCR plugin (armorkeywords.esm or something) - next time a mod asks to overwrite this, select No.

This happens to me occasionally on the workbench.  I've researched it, didn't find the direct cause itself - just hearsay information that points to improperly created mod items, being used on the workbench.  For me, it doesn't happen everytime, only certain mods - which I can't remember off the top of my head.

 

When stuck, it's noted that going in to looksmenu and exiting out of it resolves the immediate issue and restores functionality to the player.

Probably you use a mod that edits perks - if another mod relies on the vanilla perk, you get either stuck or the game freezes.

It could also be one of the mods is not correctly set up to use the awkcr keywords and such properly, missing keywords or values for the mods, though I only had this problem when trying to craft or mod those specific items.

Sorry for the necro, but since I was looking for issues regarding AWKR and this showed up - and seemed unanswered on this (not awkr) issue, I thought this might help.

I had similar issues with my clothing mod (that does NOT use awkcr), as in, at times I was stuck at (chem-)workbench menu, here's the information and "solution" I had found (copy pasted from my mod description):
