Hi.

 

I had built this High School to play Sims 3 KinkyWorld mod very long time ago (I wanted to build school similar to Sainan High from To LOVE-Ru Anime)

However Sims 3 build engine turned out to be very limited, for example, you can't place walls like this:

So I recently found it in my Sims 3 Game, never actually played it before (because I was never satisfied with it's design).

But tried it in game now and it just works fine, Prom day works too.

I've additionally improved it, added more objects that may remind of the High School from TLR (I wasn't intended to do exact similarity, it's not possible in Sims 3, unless I create needed objects myself in 3D editor). Principal's cabinet, Ballroom, Canteen and most of other interiors are pure my imagination and they look differently than in TLR. For building's facade I wasn't able to find suitable big wall columns (if you find, let me know:-).

Used other items from expansions/store packs: Generations, Late Night, University Life, Master Suite Stuff, Roaring Heights, Into the Future

and possibly other EPs. I have all EPs & All Store objects, so it's possibly I used something else that you don't have. 

 

Installation:

0) Make sure you have installed all needed Sims 3 expansion packs, CC,  Store items and of course KinkyWorld mod.

1) Deviluke_Academy_64x32.package - place this file into "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library" folder.
2) Move files from CC folder into "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages".

 

Lot size 32x64 (built to replace Sunset Valley school).  School doesn't have any rabitholes, so should be registered in KinkyWorld manually (click of the wall > KinkyWorld > Venue > High School). To add 32x64 empty lot in your town, you have to use mods(baka EA), such as "Any Lot Size by velocitygrass".

Note: if you replace default school with it, don't forget to place elementary rabbithole school somewhere else in your town (as this school doesn't provide elementary school), so kids could go to school too.

This looks interesting, however I cannot find any archive link for the uniform, is there one out there I am unaware of or possible to have an alternative uniform to use instead?

You mean the 'uniform' which has a working link to Mod The Sims for the CmarNYC top and the bottom skirt which is mentioned the link doesn't work so is included with the download archive? Or the Male uniform which like the female shoes are base game?

 

Sometimes PC users scare me - that's why I never let anyone touch my computer unless I'm right there.....

Ah, right, thank you for pointing. Though I see your point with PC users scare you, I always see these troubles over obvious issues, so sorry for bothering you too then.

I'm currently testing this high school to see if everything is working. After one day trying to play as a professor and a couple of crashes on an otherwise priscine savefile I must say I'm not convinced. Teen sims seem to be clogging around the sliding pole allowing them to go down one floor and they waste a lot of time waiting for their turn. The lot is very spacious and have many objects, which results in frequent crashes.

I'm yet to find out how to set working uniforms in KinkyWorld, since choosing Kinky World... -> Uniforms... -> Create High School Uniform didn't do the trick. Maybe students will show up in their uniforms the next day? We'll see.

And one more thing - the game doesn't recognise principal's office (OKW v409). IDK why.

I have seen on a couple of threads that you are apparently trying to get a high school working in your game. Didn't reply, as I tried the school for about a day, and removed it because it causes a conflict with things I want more... honestly forget what the problem was. Anyway, hover your mouse over the mod creators avatar, and you'll see they have not been on LL since 2018, so support probably is not coming.

 

I know others play the schools, and suggest starting a new thread and ask for general help with setting one up, and perhaps one of the school users will see it and be able to help you. I believe uniforms have been discussed elsewhere, possibly the KW thread?

 

As for things like the pole, if you like the basic set up, I suggest moving, removing or adding a second pole to see if that helps. Sounds similar to having single width stairs. Always use at least 2 wide to help relieve congestion.

I very recently discovered (adult) mods for sims 3. But i did came across a small (and as far as I can tell from my short kw discovery till now) a working small (30x30) high school.

I'm not hoping for any support other than general brainstorming, the post was here mostly to warn other people and keep a log of issues for myself to solve one way or another, providing solutions where available, so people with the same problems can find them.

I've managed to find answers to most of my questions, but the kinky school performance impact is yet to be determined. And uniforms. I had a busy weekend at the game and it's now getting to Monday so I'll be able to see if set uniforms are working.

This particular high school lot definitely needs some tweaking to be manageable within the game. I don't know if it'd be possible with such a large school, but I'll try my best and probably post the results.

Actually no. You don't need to set a school uniform for every teen sim. You can do so for only one of each gender and you're good to go. All sims will show up in school wearing uniforms on the next day. IDK if it's specific for KW v409, but it's working for me.

 

BTW, I'm getting frequent random script errors using the school provided in this thread. IDK why. Memory usage doesn't exceed 3GB, so it's not it. Unplayable. Maybe because I've added it on an ongoing save? Idk

Interesting, regarding uniforms. Again, I only played the schools a very short time because of conflicts. The script errors may be part of that as well.

 

BTW, another option for the uniforms (if someone else tries, and they don't all change the next day) is to do one male and one female, then use Nraas Master Controller> Intermediate> Transfer Clothing and simply transfer the uniform to all teens of the appropriate gender.

Pretty sure the KW School Uniform selection is 'hidden' and separate from the standard 'uniform' slot - unlike the whores.

 

The reason I say this is from before - I mentioned it already for anyone interested.

 

Once a school uniform is created and 'applied', It can't be accessed unless a new uniform is created. When created any hair/makeup/etc. being used is now part of THAT students outfit and cannot be changed unless a new uniform is created. Changing anything with the ingame dresser, Nraas Dresser, and CAS will make no difference when the uniform is worn again (outfit-wise not body-wise).

 

While I found it 'amusing' the first time I used it - My Sims aren't Catholic or Hogwarts wizards and witches and have no 'need' for school uniforms. I can have Sims wear whatever I choose, whenever I choose.

 

(This applies to the EA default uniforms as well - I make what I want them to each wear and make a copy 'career 2' so when they get promoted, I can just use the outfit I already made again and 'remove' the new default one. Copy/repeat.
