Setnakhte
On several SoS reskins (specifically on the Veteran and on Fair Men, I haven't tried any other SoS compatible reskins but it doesn't happen on the default textures) and across ENB presets (I've seen it on both Snapdragon and Tetrachromatic) I get this weird pixelated shininess at certain angles accompanied by a dramatic seam between NPCs bodies and heads. Any idea what's causing it? I've included a screenshot of the issue. 27X
The Veteran is pixelated period, so avoiding that is literally impossible. In Romeo's case you should check to see if spec maps exist, and if they do how/in what format compressed they are Before doing that you should be checking to see if you have an overriding map in a different mod lower in your load order. Setnakhte
Mod has an "Optional" spec map that I turned on, seems to have reduced the problem dramatically. Not entirely, but enough that it's no longer distracting. e: theskin's still unnaturally shiny, but the shininess is now realistic instead of pixilated and weird. Link to comment
27X
The obvious options: get flatter (darker) spec maps, alter the existing maps to a lower highlight range in PS/gimp, or change your object spec settings in Tetrachromatic Link to comment
