SexLab SE - Sex Animation Framework v1.66d - 08/29/2026

Hi guys, I just finished installing Skyrim AE (once again) thanks to @Aylis's wonderful guide🤩 I've also changed it a bit, as I've been playing Skyrim (LE, SE, AE) for a long time.

I'm using an "old" version of AE, 1.6.1170. Naturally, I blocked all updates so I wouldn't download 1.7.99...

I couldn't get SexLab (version v166c) to work. It gave me errors with DLL management and wouldn't start the installation.

It didn't work!

Then, thanks to @hartda, who posted it on this thread, I upgraded to version v166b and everything worked! 😁❤️

Now I'm playing, ehehehehe. 😍

The v166c version, in addition to not working with my version of AE, also gave me a lot of problems, again with DLL management, even with some mods, which gave errors via an in-game window, even mods that weren't very old. Basically, it was a big problem in general. I therefore suggest that the developers work on the AE 1.7.99 version, but leave the SexLab v166b version in the download section and perhaps fix it further, but without updating it, so that it always works well with AE 1.6.1170 and similar versions, which SexLab players prefer due to the number of mods available.

Thanks to everyone, especially the SexLab work group, @Aylis and even more to @hartda, who literally saved me 🥰 otherwise, I would have had to go back to playing Fallout, ehehehehe.

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with version 1.66d (the AE version); I'm getting an error involving two DLLs. I think this topic has already been discussed, but there are too many messages for me to read them all.
My Skyrim version is 1.6.1170 with SKSE 2.2.8.
I'm not sure if this version of SexLab is meant for the latest version of Skyrim, since no other version has worked for me.

I notice on the download page that it specifies That 166b is for the GOG version of 1.6.1179, is that one also for the Steam version as well?  If not is there a different one I should use?  If there is a different one would you please return it to the downloads page?

Thanks so much for the great work, as always, 🤩❤️ but I've been struggling so much to fix SexLab with mods for a new game last week, with AE version 1.66.17, that I'll continue to use the v166b version that a user posted, the v166c also blocked the dlls of various "old" mods, which with the v166b work fine hehehehehhe 😁

app manifest solution or just steam settings? the first is the one that saves your butt.

It was just the steam settings. I've now redownloaded 1.6.640, started a game w/o mods and I've gotten to the point I can add back most the SL mods. For some reason it's hanging on environmentals/lods. It worked with the same set up so I don't really get what the problem is. I even had an AI help me clean my mod list of redundant assets. I guess I can play w/o the pretty trees but it's kind of bummer tbh.... I really had a beautiful setup. lol.
