Darkening Demise Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 This may be a challenge. OK it was on PC. Early 2000 probably no later than 2002. The game looked like it was 2.5D/isometric/maybe 3D. The units and buildings were sci-fi. The map was grassland with pine trees and stuff. It was an RTS. Looked like you won through eliminating everything (meaning buildings and units of the player in question). It was not Starcraft, Supreme Commander, or Empire Earth. I already ruled them out.....at least I think. Know it was NOT Starcraft for sure. Yeah this is going to be a fun one. Bugging me for years now.
ToJKa Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Yes, could be Tiberian Sun or Red Alert 2, but such games were quite common at the time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD_CSM_6Alg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RergsjGLeuo Probably not Generals, that was "realistic" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdQDD57pg3M
Lexi SubZero Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Others that come to mind...Earth 2140 (2150 or 2160) and Ground Control.
gregathit Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 The RTS game to rule them all: http://store.steampowered.com/app/298030/Total_Annihilation/
gregathit Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Other possible candidates: Ground Control Dark Reign 1 or 2 Z: Steel Soldiers Original War
Darkening Demise Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 I'm going to go with Red Alert. It seems to be the most likely candidate.
