Realistic Pregnancy Meshes

Eh... probably a case of tone of voice not carrying over onto the internet. Triratna probably thought you where asking for someone else to make this for you. Something that, if you where in fact doing it, would be somewhat whiny and completely unrelated to modder's resources. Hence the response. However if you where asking for help in creating such meshes you may want to be a little more specific as in oblivion alone there are probably dozens of different body types; such TGND, HGEC and UFF to name a few. I think that depending on the game the process of importing the meshes is different as well, though don't quote me as modeling isn't exactly my realm of expertise.

Not to shoot darts at you but there are a number of complications that would need to be overcome to get this off the ground:

1. As cold burn mentioned there are dozens of body types and you would need to decide which you would support and which not.

2. The scripting for tamago club is already pretty darn taxing on low and medium computers. You would need to introduce more scripts with more frequent calls to determine the stages for all pregnant NPC's or the PC.

3. To make it realistic you would need to make clothing\armor for each stage and write scripts to force NPC's or the pc to use them (or go naked).

4. I doubt many people are going to want to actually wait for as long as you may be thinking to actually come to term.

These are just a few of the issues that I can think of off the top of my head. Naturally, each of them "can" be overcome but it will involve one hell of a bunch of work. The question really is whether you are willing to do it yourself. The fact that it has not yet been done is probably a testament to the work involved and why you don't see it available already. However, if you are determined to pull it off then I wish you the very best!

Cheers,

Greg

Or you could disable armor for pregnant persons, or perhaps just support it for stock fur/leather armors as well as some stock clothing, this would allow some basic realism, since those items could be made relativity easily in maternity sizes, from a RP perspective, as well as the fact that doing a minimal ammount of conversions of clothing models would mean it wouldn't take too much extra work.

That's what I was thinking could be done, a bit like the Morrowind romance mod but with a few more available maternity clothes and more stages for the pregnancy bump.

Well if you're taking up this project then best of luck, and as for the body I would advise you use a HGEC compatible one such as TGND instead of say UFF as HGEC is the most popular body type and most skin textures are designed for it anyway.

The thing is blender can't load nif files and the only scrips for it don't work and are for a 32 bit operating system, whereas I'm on a 64 bit.

Also I gave it a go on the Mount and Blade files as I could edit them and I just couldn't get the shape right.

So if anyone can give any advice on how to solve this that would be great.

Use the blender portable version with all the stuff there for you.

If you're doing it for M&B' date=' add rape as well.

IE: female PC captured, chance of rape, higher with bandits (and male PCs able to rape too, for kicks, heavy rep/honor hit)

No rape I'm not having anything like that in this mod, consensual sex only.

Anyway I'm trying blender but I'm finding it hard to get the shape 'right' can anyone give me any advice on which tools to use to get the shape like in the images?

The 6 stages in Sexout Pregnancy are enough with all the outfits and different body shapes, too many meshes to do, I doubt we would do 6 again.

When/if we move to skyrim I'm thinking there'll be three sizes.

I'd be thinking 4 myself tops, 3 human and a larger for twins or other :)

it also depends on if somone worked out a way to do the breasts growing thing somehow with the belly I guess.

Try Sexout for Fallout New Vegas! Check in New Vegas subforum.

It has random brutal rape, slavery, prostitution, pregnancy to a breeder/broodmother by some animals.

I mean like week by week growth on this scale of realism

...

I originally wanted to something like this for Mount & Blade were you can married but not have children' date=' I even posted on blender forums for advice but was ignored, but it could work for Fallout or The Elder Scrolls as well.

In my own efforts to make a more realistic (if that word can be applied to a fantasy game) Oblivion experiences, I've been working on something you might be interested in. I'm new to blender, so getting something I'm happy with, plus all the necessary permissions might take a bit, but here's a first draft based on the TGND body. Once I get the techniques down I'm hoping to do at least a modest wardrobe for this and a few other body types.
