Characters stand on top of each other when animation starts

Hello!

I believe I am having a slight issue in getting my animations working properly, first off when I start one all it get is noise and characters standing on top of each other. I have been back over the install procedure and I think I might have figured out the issue! But I have no clue how to fix it myself! The issue in hand (imo) is that FNIS is not reading the SL Framework and instead just reading itself. I use MO to launch FNIS as an executable but it seems to not read the framework. I have attached a report and a picture below! Any help would really be appreciated.

Cheers,

What animations? You have exactly 0 animations installed. If you look at the end of your FNIS log it shows a big goose egg for animations. What is your load order because looking at the FNIS output shows that you have nothing installed at all that is needed for adult things to work?

You have no sexlab you have no FNIS creature pack (which is needed if you want creature sex) you have no sexlab type mods installed no animation type mods installed no SLAL packs installed. You probably don't have SKSE either would be my guess.

One of the few cases myuhinny is probably wrong and even gamerpoets doesn't the -imho- best way to do that. nyctophilia is right that your path is wrong, but the easiest way to make sure the right path is chosen, use these steps:

1. In MO, go to this section: http://prntscr.com/hsucc7

2. right click GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and (german in screenshot) click at "add executable" or something like that. http://prntscr.com/hsucvw

3. MO tells you to chose a name for your FNIS executable, what you enter here is what you see in the menu later here: http://prntscr.com/hsue1c

As you can see it's possible to have several entries for different versions of FNIS and even for the same installation. Just to be sure i'd recommend to chose a different name than you already have right now to start FNIS and delete the old entry with the wrong path, or delete it first.

This works for all entries in this menu, although they are at different places at the first screenshot. Bodyslide for example is in Calientetools instead of tools. The reason i prefer this way is that you can't do anything wrong chosing the path, MO will add it automatically. Just make sure you use GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and not ...forModders.exe. Both work, though, if you somehow consider that more confusing than the way in the video, you're free to do it any other way too as long as the path is right at the end. FNIS will tell you if the path is wrong.

Hi! Thanks for the speedy reply! I did some reinstalling and added a new version of FNIS (deleted the other one) to MO. However I am still having that same problem when trying to get the correct path. I have tried both methods now i have the SL framework installed manually and via mod organiser. Anything else I can do to try and fix this?

Don't do that ever. The whole point to use MO is NOT having mods in your data folder, mixing both causes more trouble than using only one of both. Did you install FNIS in MO?

Yes i did install it im watching the video that @nyctophillia linked as i realised i didnt install FNIS  properly. However i check steam games > steamapps > common > skyrim and I dont have a Mod Organizer file? I did check to see if it was hidden also.

So I fixed the MO file problem (literally drag and dropped it into my skyrim folder) and I properly installed FNIS again using that video (very helpful) now however I am back to my first issue where FNIS is not reading the SL framework. Yet I have the latest version installed.
