guk Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 If you ever used PRC ENB for Fallout 4, you might know its "screenarchery toolbox". To show exactly what this can do, i'm going to post a few pics from my FSPTG mod: So basically you can use the ENB GUI to cycle through a set of overlays, which are just PNG files inside the enbseries folders. This is used to frame perfect shots with ease. Now the question - would it be possible to add anything like this to Oldrim?
27X Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 yes, as it already does, circa weather effects, black bars and vignetting and contrast palette overlays. Pretty sure there's a "night eye" enb addon on the nexus that already does this with a filter overlay stolen from AvP 2010 for "wairwoofs superedgelord extreme" vision.
guk Posted December 24, 2017 Author Posted December 24, 2017 Well the Letterbox and Vignette are actually shader code, but yes the Weather FX, Lens FX etc are made with overlays. Now i just wonder why none of the code wizards ever made anything like this for Oldrim - if they can add overlays based on weather or light direction, it wouldn't be too difficult to just add something like this on demand At least i found this the single most useful ENB tool ever made for screenarchery. Can also combine with the "smart black bars" code found on the ENB forums, where you just type the desired X / Y ratio into 2 fields and the shader crops the image automatically. Like 2.35:1 or 2:3, result is in the post on top.
