I'm having an issue in my current save file where my character isn't able to crouch after do anything involving sexlab whatsoever, this has been occuring consistently with other playthroughs where the further I go the more issues occur with my character. I believe it maybe with excess files being made from the game as I go but I have no proof to back that up so if anyone has run into this issue please share.

Thank you in advance if someone has found anything to solve this issue

Are you going into TFC mode during the sex scene? If so you need to stop that and use the MCM set up for it so that it auto switches to TFC when a animation starts and goes away when the animations stop. If you are in TFC mode when animations stop it'll mess up your controls so that you can't attack and other things. Closing the game and then bringing it back up usually fixes those.

I believe I have that already in my settings, as in "automatically switch flying camera". I don't manually switch into that mode myself so I don't believe that may be causing the issue. As well when I reload the save that my character is bugged in, it still is stuck with those bugs when closing the game and opening it again.

And so far it's been only affecting my crouch button because of it.

Sounds like stack dumps to me, but that's hard to prove without logs from the time they happened... later logs might show some errors then but no explanation why they happen and even that isn't sure. And the only way to fix the errors they caused for sure is to reload a save where the first happened or start a new game.

To prevent stack dumps, reduce your script load.

Well I've already found some mods that have script dump issues, for example the mod Wet and Cold with Mias Lair have had the issue you mentione. I removed Wet and Cold and it did help improve the gameplay by less freezing and crashing with only Mias Lair installed. Also I'm not too sure on where I should reduce the script load, I'm going to assume mods that add additional items are probably an issue relating to the script load so I'll take care of those. But for anything else I'm not sure on what to do.

That's two different things. It may happen that a script gets skipped, like... jumped over. No action done, but no harm done either. Stack dumps instead completly drop the script and they completly kill any save made after that. There is no point in keep playing with any save from there because, it's broken no matter what. Removing script mods generally does not improve the situation at all either, it may fix something or maybe not and it most likely will cause other problems. The scripts are baked into your save and they won't go away uninstalling it. Just don't do that.

For both cases the two options you have are

- load a game before it happened/you installed the mod the first time

- start a new game.

I figured as much, well I did start a new game and gotten rid of mods that I didn't have much use for. Hopefully this will be better, thank you both for the help!
