C5Kev's Dragonscale! Armor Revisited UUNP

View File

Hello Folks!    Dragonscale!  Yes kids, it's Dragonscale! And you can have Dragonscale! armor too. How in the World did we play Skyrim without this?

DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR ARMOR USING BODYSLIDE

?  Please don't message me and to tell me your armor is invisible!  ?

My Dragonscale! Armor mod has been totally revamped from the original version. Being the superficial jerk that I am, there is now only one size. And it's ultra skimpy and super-sexy! So sexy, in fact, that the the men of Skyrim will be pointing skyward to the "Throat of The World".  Hmmm,   ..."Throat of The World"...   Gotta be a joke in there somewhere.

My mod is based off of Dazi's original Tribal Clothes mod, which had a rather high armor rating of 50 for both the top and the skirt. Uhhh, OK, sounds good. I'll leave it at that. Along with my modified meshes, new textures and normals, Dragonscale! provides the maximum in protection against No-Goodniks for your sexy Dragonborn.  Wow!  Just imagine the thrill!

I've also replaced the clunky ol' boots with very sexy "clicky" boots. The Lady Revenant boots by the famed Krista, one of my fav's. But because they are "clicky" boots, you'll need the Heels Sound mod by ApoKrytia. It's a requirement, so please have that already installed.

Dragonscale! Available in all your favorite flavors - Alduin, Ancient, Bronze Elder, Brown Blood, Dragon Lace, Frost, Green Blood, Legendary, Revered, Serpentine and Spooey. Eleven in total. Hokey-Smoke! Folks, it just doesn't get any better than this.

You'll only need dragonscales to craft and temper your armor. But as we all know, dragons are no problem for any sexy Dragonborn!

INSTALLATION & BODYSLIDE:

Simply install my mod using your favorite mod manager. Once doing so, start up BodySlide and select "C5Kev's Dragonscale! Revisited UUNP (or CBBE)" from the "Group Filter" drop-down. Check the "Build Morphs" box and click "Batch Build" to make your armor parts. That's about it.

While I did not try them, mainly because I use CBBE, I wanted to say they look good. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, these could look weird on a CBBE body, but thank you for the kind words.  It's appreciated.  Maybe it's time to UUNP, huh?  Everybody's doin' it !

Having a problem here with this outfit.  When I try using the skimpy textures I'm getting these faint outlines showing the edges of the regular textures.  Not sure what is causing this.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hey Redd.  Did you make new parts with BodySlide?

Have what all at once?

It would be good if we have all the colors at one time(i mean all color), not just one color to chose

If you are referring to this mod, there are the nine colors shown in Skimpy and Super Skimpy, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Yes - if you mean adjusting the meshes of the top & bottom with Bodyslide.  Is that what's causing this?  Or is there something else I need to do.

Hmm, odd. Would you mind sending me a copy of the parts (skirt_0, & _1  and top_0, _1 )  so I can look at them?  Thanks!

Choose the version and color you'd like, ?
can we have all the colors at once in the game and not just one to chose?
and can you explain how?

Joker028 - Oh, I see what you're saying. Having everything in-game requires modifying the .esp file big-time. I didn't want to over-complicate the mod and simply copying the texture files manually is the best way to do it.

As far as explaining how to use the mod, I already did so on the description page. It's pretty easy.

A new armor mod, woooot!  Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but you know what would be really cool?  If each of these flavors dropped correlating to the type of dragon you kill.  For example, killing a blood dragon would drop the green blood tribal cloth armor; killing a frost dragon would drop the frost tribal cloth armor; killing Alduin would drop the Alduin tribal cloth armor; etc.  To that end, the standard version, for example, you can craft.

I think that's a really good idea!  And if I knew how to do that...    I was going for a "quick & dirty" mod, but maybe I'll try to look into that.  Armors could also have a rating corresponding to their difficulty of course with Alduin (and perhaps Paarthurnax) being higher than Dragonbone.

That would be so, so, so very awesome c5kev!  If you would do something like that, I would be most grateful, and I'm sure others would be too!  I will be watching your mod intently with my fingers crossed whilst holding my breath in anticipation.

I installed the Ultra-Low Skirt update, opened up BodySlide to build the mesh, and received this oddity:

  Reveal hidden contents

skirt_1.thumb.jpg.81ae41a1e6bea3b4fa88830b5bd451df.jpg

In-game, the skirt appeared as so:

  Reveal hidden contents

skirt_2.thumb.jpg.6a4e4ce26d40744c41433bcf23e48f24.jpg

Does this issue arise from BodySlide and/or the Ultra-Low skirt mesh?  Or are the slider values of this UUNP preset are too extreme?

On a side note, I tested the Super Skimpy option with this same UUNP preset and it worked just fine.

Hey Bromum.  Not sure what's going on there. The skirt should be much tighter to the "generic" body image you posted. As far as your preset, is it too extreme? I don't use bodies of that type to check, but I wouldn't think it should matter what body one uses as BS just scales crap based on one's settings. But I'm no BS expert.

I would simply blow out all the related Tribal Clothe stuff. Then reinstall Shitty's mod, then my Dragonscale mod and check your BS fit. If all's well at that point, reinstall the "low" update / mega-micro textures and see what happens. Sorry this isn't much of an answer, but considering the "generic" image doesn't look right, might be easier to just "start over".

After doing the above, you might want to rename your save and start a new game just to be sure something weird isn't embedded within your old save to check. Then go back to your old save if everything checks out OK.

I always get the same issue as Bromum when trying to use the ultra-low version. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.

The issue seems to be with the skirt nif file in the ultra-low.

The skirt on the default addon (and your default dragonscale version) previews without a body. As soon as you add the ultra-low nif file it previews with a body but doesn't fit and is not actually previewing the correct body type. No idea what is causing this :S

This might be a stupid question, but the top and bottom armor parts are occupying the same armor slot for me. I can't equip them both at the same time, am I missing something?

Shit, after looking into this, yeah I goofed up. I'm very sorry you're having problems, but get this resolved shortly. Please stand by...   :)

Hey I just fixed this, it wasn't anything you did, it was actually something SOS (schlongs of skyrim) did. I fixed it by cleaning all armors that were affected by SOS through the mod configuration menu.
