darkevilhum
Looking for a realistic ENB preset or combination of some that you guys use and would recommend. I'm currently using RealVision but lately it's been very stale looking and lacks decent lighting and shadow/specular visuals at times. Point of note is, I'm searching for an ENB that not necessarily focuses on character aesthetics but does them justice over the environment as SexLab is about the characters and not the enviroment. Redswift
I've been looking around for ENBs to use with Sexlab as well. What I didwa was take a well-rounded and highly-customizable ENB (right now I'm on Tetrachromatic but Rudy is also pretty good) and adjust it so that it looks a lot brighter and more vibrant. I hate ENBs where I can't see what the heck is going on. Link to comment
27X
There really is no ENB that focuses exclusively on people over environment, you'll have to make one. The closest is Kwanon, which is fitting since it's designed by Haley, but while it nails skin details and luminance pretty well, it's also mono-saturated as hell, so weather mods may end up looking pretty off. Others that focus on characters more than most is SnapDragonPrime and K, which SnapDragon is a derivation of. There is also TKRE, which is hybrid of the listed former. Another issue enb for 32 is in the middle of a pretty big transition on global lighting and shading, and there is no preset currently out that accommodates this precisely with every new feature included, and the closest is Rudy, not even counting that for exteriors, every ENB and weather mod maker will need go over the new stuff from scratch to accommodate the new lighting model, so whatever you pick now may look quite different in a couple months due to updates. That's some interesting info, ergh would be better to wait then huh, if I'm impatient though, what would you recommend between Kwanon, SDP/K or Rudy? In terms of current quality, Im not too fussed about weather mods as I only use the bare minimum that are required for any enb preset I use. Link to comment
27X
If you don't care about quality of weather then Kwanon would be the choice for skin quality. Link to comment
darkevilhum
For anyone looking for something along the same lines; I tried out Kwanon and though it was decent, I felt even with personal tweaks, it came out very .. flat? I think the enb tones down specular a lot somehow. I say somehow as upping the specular every which way I could via enb settings didn't help very much. I ended up trying a few enbs and found Kounter Vibe ENB ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58534/ ), which is a nice mix of everything. (Though it doesn't look great at first) I made some tweaks to achieve a nice finish for characters: Via enblocal, disabled Bloom, Via enblocal, disabled DoF (personal preference, i hate blurr effects), Uninstalled/deleted sweetFX and its shaders that are included with this ENB (waaay too much sharpening), To counter balance the sharpening lost above, I enabled all Anti Aliasing in enb local (Except for temporal which is too blurry imo) Once I'd done all that I had a pretty sweet visual aesthetic . Thanks for the suggestions and help. Link to comment
