Help with Misaki mod

I was able to align the necks between Misaki's head (model by Huchi) and the neck of Helena's Kasumi transformed body perfectly

Had to do some surgery in Blender.

But now I got this problem

Untitled.thumb.png.a9ecaa2f29bd932b3bc4a8784551af13.png

The weird stuff under the boobs and the belly button looks weird, like it didn't look like that before the neck surgery

Here's how it looks like just by simply transforming it to Kasumi

If you see a neck seam on this picture it's because I swapped the skin color to Misaki's, just to show that it's not Misaki's skin texture messing up the belly button, there is a darker skin tone near the crotch though, that is part of the Misaki skin texture.

If anybody knows how to fix that problem on Misaki's body please let me know

Did you removed doubles and recalc normals after the neck surgery ?

What method did you use to edit the neck ? Was it similar to this method ?

ps : otherwise, LGMODS and SAAFRATS just released a new misaki model, maybe you'll have better luck modding that one.

As you have everything is complicated, however! ) I remember that two months ago I attached head to the body without any Blender, simply by editing the OBJ-file in the appropriate manner. I did not even really know what are the normals, especially doubles ... )))

Yes I did, if I don't remove doubles and recalc normals those imperfections don't show up but the seams across the body do. And just so you know I've already passed it through Character Transform Tool, which has fixed these kinds of problems before with other surgeries I've done, the problem with that is that Misaki's neck on the head is smaller than Kasumi's neck on the body so by passing the body through the transform tool, which it does fix the problems on Misaki's body, but the neck gets messed up because it's trying to change the neck back to Kasumi's.

No I didn't use that method, I simply just imported both body TMCmesh files into blender, cut Misaki's neck off from Huchi's models, deleted the neck from Helena's Kasumi body and then connected each vertices together.

It's weird though because I've done the same thing a few times, like I made a Misaki Leifang Tropical Sexy mod, and there was no under boob problem there, but the belly button looked a little weird. That under boob problem also happened when I tried to edit Lisa's Fortune swimsuit with Misaki's neck.

Just looked those mods up, very good but sadly they did the same thing Huchi did, Misaki's neck on the head is too small, transforming costumes to her is going to need surgery every time rather than just transforming any costume to Kasumi and done. If the neck on Misaki's head was the same size as Kasumi's neck on the body it would be easy to make costumes for Misaki. I tried editing Misaki's neck on the head and inserting back into the TMC using LR Photostudio but I kept getting a "data swap error".

I don't know why blender deforms the skin mesh like that, but at least it's consistent, helena and lisa are the same body type and leifang is another, more similar to kasumi, ayane etc.

What misaki skin and face meshes are you using ?

I don't think I can help you much without experimenting myself at this point.

Well I'm using Huchi's model. When editing the body I transform the costume I want for Misaki to Kasumi, since that's what Huchi is using for his Misaki mod. I then extract the body tmcmesh from Huchi's Misaki base model, cut the neck off of that, then delete the neck from the transformed Kasumi body and connect Misaki's neck onto it. I'm sure I would get the same results if I were to use LGMods and Saafrats models, because the problem is with the transformed body.

Well, I make no promises, but I'll try my luck with that,

In the meantime, what priss10 said may be a solution, just try to move around and scale the neck in .obj format.

Yet another idea is to go pester timmyc to add misaki in his transformer tool.

Yeah TimmyC adding Misaki to the transform tool would be awesome, it would save to so much time.

Where do you edit OBJ files, in Blender as well, and export them out and insert them how?, never messed around with OBJ files

Yes, you edit .obj files in blender or 3DS, but for that you need the other timmyc tool (objtmcconverter) to transform .TMC in.obj and back.

Maybe this is the problem, the normals are going inwards, the same with the left boobw.thumb.JPG.bad12a703a9e73aa0a1e342f39a5d711.JPG

Yep, forgot about that, beware of the vertex order though.

yep, this is the problem, now we can edit the normals that are going inward or keep looking for what is causing it.
