Dwari225 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Okay so I downloaded Additional Body textures from nexus and one of the skins is missing its XXXXX_s.dds file and only has the other two. How do I change the colors in the normal XXXXX_d.dds into the s.dds like it is for the other CBBE skins... I'm somewhat new to GIMP and I have no idea what to do.
GimmeBACON Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 s.dds is a specular map (sweaty/glossiness) and it needs it's own textures. Find another skin mod that contains them, manually download, then extract them.
myuhinny Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 There is much info out there if you search the right areas you basically have to add a specular layer to a texture. The video shows how to do it with gimp/gimp2 not sure how to do it with paint-net but there are tutorials out there for photoshop on how to do it.
