Weird Clipping/Transparency Issue

Hi, 

So I spent all day working towards downloading mods, working around crashes and the like and I thought I'd gotten everything set up properly when I discovered this weird clipping issue where I can see the clothes through the model? I've tried it with a few different set ups and characters and it keeps happening, I even tried the princess slave start but that crashes past the opening part so I can't post any photos of that. 

Any suggestions?

taking a wild guess here, but did you build them on bodyslide and or downloaded the bodytype supported by the armor

Yes to both. I'm using CBBE and I've made sure to rebuilt the bodyslide morphs every time I try to fiddle with the mods
