So these mods require money to obtain, I can't believe anyone dares to do such a thing openly. This is a damage to the game production team and will also have a huge negative impact on the mod community. It seems that I have to give up these mods. I won't support these guys. Paid mods should be boycotted

I get your point, but it's not that simple. Developing high-quality mods for a game this old takes hundreds of hours of work. Red Hook has already moved on to the sequel, and these modders are the ones keeping the first game alive. Supporting creators who put professional-level effort into their content isn't a 'boycott' matter; it's a way to ensure the community continues to thrive.

No, this is incorrect. Almost all games are not maintained through paid mods, and the ones that support this game are those carefully crafted free mods. These people are just lying on top of the game to suck blood, and the price of purchasing these mods is even enough to buy an additional copy of the game
