Best you can do is clone the monster. The procedure is entirely theory at this point, but should be possible.

As for cloning heroes... I recommend grabbing Xelsword's standalones, since they cloned all the vanilla classes, and then reskinning one of the skeletons onto them.

I'm unfamiliar with the utility, so I have no information to give there.

Hi guys! I was trying out the anaertellian pack and encountered some errors while trying to embark with the jester(the miku skin I believe)

 

The fx folder has 21 items. I assume that I may be lacking skel and atlas in the fx, and for the third error, I have no idea what that means.

 

Does anyone know how to resolve this situation?

 

If you don't know the solution, please kindly share the original jester files with me. I too dumb to have made a backup file :(

In regards with the title screen, well, I actually never really got it to permanently to work due to how game's limitation, which I really don't pay too much mind, since it's only the title screen. Like it will work once, then when you load it back, it will revert back to it's default color. 

Now assuming that you are aware that the title screen will not work if you just activate the mod normally. You'll have to replace the DD base vanilla files. Now you will also need to copy the colours folder (along with the base.colours.darkest file inside) from the LL custom edit, then afterwards, it should now work. [If you don't want to replace the DD vanilla files, you can go with my approach, where if you have a... copy, made another install, rename that folder and replace those files, that way when you open that, it will focus on that folder instead]

For the mounthound... I really don't know how and why. I haven't encountered one when I fought a mounthound in game, well one time, but I just reload the game and it fix itself. The files there are no different from Lustiest lair expanded and I just copy paste it. The only difference there is the image/.pngs, but other than that, it should only cause a graphical error.

I guess one suggestion I can provide is to remove the .skel and .darkest files (the ones on the anim/fx folder), only leaving the .pngs (for the mounthound folders only).

All three of those are the same thing: You managed to install FX .pngs without their skeletons or atlas, resulting in the game crying because it cannot find files it is told to expect.

Usually it just uses the vanillas, which would result in mangled sprites if they were designed for custom content, but as the game can't find ANY atlas/skeleton files and you're asking for backups...

Like what I explain on the post, I made a separate copy of DD and replace all of the files with Lustiest Lair Custom Edits. This also includes the *Localization folder and its loc2 file*.

 

(I'm not sure if you have tried replacing the vanilla localization too, it will replace the texts on the menu and options. I remember scraping through the localization file and it was tiresome)

 

I honestly don't recommend people to do so since it won't make much impact. (I even question why I did it too) I hope it does answer your question though ?

Also, here are some of the mods used that I personally changed from the ones I used on the screenshot. Sorry for lazily naming them, I really didn't bother at the time. (Put this on top of LL Custom Edit to avoid any conflicts.)

Lustiest Lair Fully Compiled Strings with CoM.rar (Changes the dialogue/texts of the entire LL mod as well as terms in the game, like dmg is now spur and crit is now peak. Also change male terms to be gender neutral, due to the plethora of female enemy skins, and I prefer futa too..)

 FX CAMP TRAINTER ANIMATED CUSTOM.rar (this legitimately makes the tent move when you drag the cursor. Of course I didn't make it, just change the color to fit)

NEW UI EDITED.rar (changes the hero panel preview screen and has various background options)

MrCookieS Mod Panels Overlay target [edited].rar (obviously not mine, just change the target and made them purple)

The slaver?... Oh you mean the hero portrait?

 

Sorry to break it down to you. Thats not a playable class, thats the portrait when the player completed one DD quest for the first time, they start hallucinating and strange pictures popping out at random. 

 

So its basically that, I just change the portrait/hero icons on the roster tab.

You have a monster (A statue enemy?) being called on as a spawnable enemy but said enemy (class = statue_shield_A) doesn't exist.
 

So either the enemy class does not exist in your monsters folder or in the classifications in the dungeons folders.

 

How to fix it? Depends on whatever mod that adds them as they are definitely not vanilla.

 

Go to your mods folder and search for "Statue_shield_A", find which mod calls on it/adds it and reinstall it (or remove it entirely).

If that does not work; then some other mod is overwriting the mod that adds "statue_shield_A".

I implemented in last few days one feature for my own game and roleplaying - "Pregnancy" mechanic

 

What exactly i figured out and implemented as "Pregnancy feature":

 

1% chance during each usage of "having sex" skill to give partner (its alwayes girl, i hope :)) "Pregnant" quirk

Quirk has 4 stages with progression during time -

1) Pregnant (early) (1st trimestr) (cureable in Sanitarium, "abort')

2) Pregnant (middle) (2nd trimestr) (non-cureable, "too late", same for all further stages)

3) Pregnant (late) (3d trimestr)

4) Birthing

Birthing is fast (1 week in town or 4-10 turns in dungeon), other stages take 13 weeks each (i take my own usual standard of "25 turns in dungeon = 1 day" modifier, so each stage is 2200-2400 rounds, or just 13 weeks in town)

After "Birthing" stage is complete charackter gaining quirk "Happy mother"

All pregnancy stages and birth stage giving heavy debuffs and problems, scaling from light on 1st stage to super heavy on 3d and birthing, "Happy mother" giving very pleasant buffs instead

 

So - its actually as it is - simple, non-conflict with anything, but same time super immersive and realistic for roleplaying)

You can make whole harem of 50+ pregnant girls if you will want, or just "marry|have a girlfriend" of 1 and only 1 of them and make a happy family only with her - just by choice and roleplay :wink:)

 

What i was thinking about implementing, but didnt figure out how to do that too -

how to make description when progression of stage is going in town (dont know why but it is just "empty bar" in town even list) - not crucial or breaking something in-game, just a little bit unimmersive mostly

chance of gaining "Postpartum depression" quirk instead (or together) with "Happy mother"

cnahce of miscarriage when taking stress or damage in dungeon being pregnant

chance of mother death during birthing

chance of baby being birth dead (another quirk or depression)

May be all of this is possible too, i just didnt figure out, so i left as it is, more simple|simpiified in term of "how it is in reality" but pretty good enough for roleplaying in current view, working and without issues

 

I dont think it will be need to upload HERE (in public page) since its mostly "resource" mod and will not do anything on its own, but if some of you will want it for their own mods as "resource" to implement "Pregnancie" mechanic for some skills or conditions, or to just check|edit|modify|expand further that feature for their own game (which will be not hard and i will not mind about if you will use or edit it yourself) - let me know in PM, i will gladly share :))

You could edit the files and delete everything except the middle name of the file inside and the code to open/close the entry, in case of sets, should be something like this:

	"sets": []
}

For entries:

{
	"entries": []
}

and so on...

Even if it is a resource mod, I'd still share it, you'd never know when someone decides to use it or even improve upon it ;)

 

To make the description you have to create the text within the localization files and then link that string to the town_events file that you created.

 

To make the quirks you have to draft a script to monitor the status of the characters which would be difficult to achieve and you have to create several town_events to manage it. I would rather not delve into such a rabbit hole and keep it simple.

 

The chance of mother/miscarriage would be best achieved via town_events where you can force remove/kill heroes from the roster.

Its just not showing - just empty bar in town even list, without any text

 

Other things i agreed - most likely will be or too diffictult, or too buggy, for simple roleplay in current view its pretty fine and enough as for me, same time being unconflict with anything

 

About "share any way" - as i mentioned its sort of "resource mod" - so 99% of people here will have no use of it in current view, and if someone will want it to improve or to use for their own mods - just request in PM, i will share no problems, its like 2 minutes to make PM message and 5 minutes to share)

Well... I only have an amateur idea of the game and halftilt's mod, I'm not confident that I'll be able to fix this but I can still try. (Again, I just copy paste everything, I didn't change the behavior or stuff they implemented to OG LL)

May I know where you have encountered that? I can try to replicate it and see if I'll encounter the same issue.

Can you share the Loc and Town_event files? I'll take a look at the code. Because with those it should technically work... the only reason that I could think of when it wouldn't work would be the code itself..
