Hi guys, I'm having CTD upong entering the town, I have a lot of mods so pinpointing the cause of the ctd is a liitle dificult, My question is, Is there a tool that lets me see a log or something of stuff that's being loaded? that way I can see the stuff is causing errors and try to see if I can fix them.

Sort of. You can turn on Debug Output in the settings, which will throw up error messages as they're encountered while playing. Look for what mods/files are being mentioned right before the crash goes down, and focus on them.

xD I allways follow the rule, the developers had a vision for the game and you should stick to it, if it was an Anime girl game, then best would be anime girl, but this is DD so for me no anime girls, no real boobs, no futa, furry or other that kinde of stuff, immersion is importand, it just look good if everything is in one art style and I really like DD artstyle. There is still basic mechanic of the game behind art, if I want just porn I would watch pornhub, art is a story, and what tale is tells, IMAGINATION, IMMERSION, COHESION, respect for source material. xDDD

Btw. anyone know how this option for editable background is called, I mean no background, lattice is called, I was moron who scale art insted of expand background, becouse I don't know how, I am new to graphic stuff??

Hi, I`m struggling with localization files in mods to fix [Blue_text_everywhere_annoys]
The main issue is that I`m a dishonored pirate and have GOG version of DD downloaded from tracker
Tried searching, tried fixing. Found out only that my localization.exe just keeps closing every time with no error identifications and any positive result as well
I have this problem with several new class mods excepting Marvin Seo`s (For some reason, they work successfully) and Marcus brothers
Would be grateful for any kind of reply

Oh, I know nonsteam version it means GOG and EPIC localization.exe is fucked up, becouse developers don't give a fuck about GOG and EPIC users for some reason, get steam version.

Second, I do respect the developers of the game and the vision they have for their projects I also promote the game to friends and other people since I think it is a really entertaining game though some aspects of it could be changed such as the grinding since you have a very limtied amount of inventory stacking amount for certain items and loot but that is more of a technical problem for me than the world building and the artist aspect of the game.

 

Third, is this https://www.photopea.com/ this a online free to use legitimate site that I use to edit images I highly recommend it. I also recommend (since you saide you are new to editting) that you experiment with it.

Well, I tried it, but I noticed you've placed the two sprites side by side, but they should be vertically placed. Otherwise it looks great!

I am somewhere in between both arguments; I quite like the original art style of the game so when I went through and reskinned heroes I stayed with ones that looked somewhat similar. Where I could I also have nude skins however.

 

I am not shy to tweak the game to my personal enjoyment; if there is a game mechanic or skin that does not work well with me then I change it. For instance:

- The DLC were very different layouts then the base game; and how you could not easily manage the crimson curse in your party. Mods helped me with that making them proper dungeons and giving me options when dealing with the curse.

- Off healer classes (ie. classes that have one healing skill that is often very weak) got an overhaul in my game. They still don't act as the main healer in most cases, but I do not skip the skills anymore.

 

The main thing I tried to avoid was particularly jarring differences between the base game and added mods. Call that immersion if you want, but my main goal is to make the game fun for me.

For me it's more about consistency really. For example, I think Xelsword's skins are by far, the best ones ever made, but it's obvious that those do conflict quite a lot with the original game art style.

That hasn't stopped me from installing all of them though. On the other hand, stuff like the Abigail class and a lot of Niur's skins are just too much of a conflict and it ends up detracting from what people like to call "immersion".

 

Of course, it all comes down to personal preference. At end of the day, everyone's sense of fun is unique.

Hmm I useing gimp, and it's amazing, looks more advanced than https://www.photopea.com/ it's not photoshop, but it's enough. Oh, I can also try in paint.
