Other pack. This time Town skins by Jefuty patreon. I slightly edited some of them and remove scars etc. in hardcore ver.  Recommended with other pack by Ferum13. If you get any crits just remove "Jefuty - [Skins] Town\fx\town_blacksmith_level03" because its unstable somehow (i would be glad if someone help with that)

This is probably a long shot as I'm not sure how Xelsword's skeleton works exactly on his Houndmaster or Constable skins, but is it possible to remove the human and only leave the furry or anthro "dog"? I'm not sure how his skeleton works as I've not got the programs to check, nor do I have the psd or his skins to check the layering (not even sure if he give those out). If it is possible and someone puts it in this thread I would be very grateful, as I quite like the idea of having one of them with and another without the person. I know that would likely be a good amount of work, but as every time I try to edit a skin myself I screw it up royally somehow or another, I would really appreciate if someone more experienced could do it, if it's even possible in the first place.

Dan already did it at page 78 (damn when you check 60+ pages in just a few days they all feel "recent" xD) as a replacer for the rabid dogs :D

I meant specifically to replace or add on to the hero themselves, what Dan did was to replace the monster dogs not the hero, so there are only a few of the attacks and only the combat and idle. So it's missing around 6 or so "animation" files for the rest of the attacks and the "walking" animation (I.E. It's missing the pngs for the character as well as the skeleton files for the animations of the pngs to function in accordance with the game itself.)

 

Edit: Although I suppose that shows that it can be done, it just hasn't been done fully yet.

All you have to do is literally erase the Houndmaster from her .PNGs and the game's smart enough to just render nothing when a sprite's missing, leaving only the dog behind. For most of her sprites, the Master's image is separated from the dog, so it's actually a no-brainer to remove her from them.

However, her Defend and camp sprite would need repairs after removing the Master, as she overlaps on top of the dog in those, and the Heroic, Afflicted, and Heal sprites would straight up need to be redrawn as the Master is visibly touching the dog, so simply removing her isn't an option.

...Don't look at me, I have zero artistic talent. Just informing you of what would need to be done to make it work.

I understand that I could erase the human from it, however, everytime I try to "just erase" a portion of the sprite, they end up turning into just white block in the game. I have tried multiple times to try and fix this as I have read how to do it while trying to edit the Lilith mod class, but I have yet to get it to actually work as I do not own photoshop and the free alternatives just seem to not work for me. I am probably just being an absolute idiot, but it is for that reason that I would love for some else to attempt to do it as I just simply cannot seem to get doing it myself to work.

...Might be the effects of using sub-par image editing software? I think you need something that can handle transparency to get anything done...

Again, I'm no artist, so I can't fix the sprites mentioned above, but I'll take a swing at what I can do and report back in a bit.

I can 'probably' go around and simply tell the class's .atlas files that the Master shouldn't be rendered, but doing that would cause every skin to be just the hound.

it's like that one reskin that makes it look like the houndmaster is dead but the dog stayed loyal to his owner

Setback after setback, more and more work piling up... but finally, with the help of some tricks I learned porting Lucia, I finally managed to wrangle her into a finished state.

Testing was more extensive then usual, and by that I mean I checked every move to make sure they looked decent.

Nothing else out of the ordinary to report, other then fuck this class. I'm always on call to fix bugs, so don't worry about calling me back.

Would someone be able to edit the LustiestLair files to reduce the spawn rate of the futa slaver girls? Cos they're basically a miniboss but spawn as often as a regular enemy and it's really ruining the mod for me.

still looking for some coding help (or a nsfw editor to make sexy versions of furries,i have 4 classes with 4 skins each for you to play with) 

my class is a chipmunk that gathers food and provides support (i've tested these features,but can't get the strings table to function,so its not MAJOR coding help)

He released version 3.0.2 last month. According to update log, he have rebalanced them and reduced the spawn rate. You can try that one I guess. (I haven't try it yet.)

I suppose I can say that editing the altas for now would be fine for now until someone can understand why that is happening. But I'm also extremely confused as to how that's a thing. Although if I'm honest uploading the one with the master as a sort of ghost would also be pretty good for some people as well as I've seen one similar with the vanilla one on the Nexus like a previous comment mentioned. I'd try and offer some advice to fix it, but I haven't the slightest clue what would be causing that as it should only be able to render her if she is in the png, the only thing I can really thing of is that there is a layer that is still there in the picture, but if there are no psd files then that should be impossible. Sorry I can't offer any advice since you are trying to help, but I'm just as stumped as you are probably, if not more so.

Drag and drop the combat, walk and idle .png files onto both of these to fix. No need to change the .atlas file.

You can do it yourself.

The Slaver's spawn chances are stored in Lustiest Lair/Dungeons. Each of the four vanilla dungeons has five text files that you'll want to edit, don't ask why five, I don't know.

In the latest build (3.0.2) she spawns significantly less often then her Brigand Blood counterpart... assuming the game correctly recognizes the .4 of her encounter data.

If it does read it, you can try lowering the number further. If it doesn't... the only way to make her less likely to spawn would be to ban her from spawning in either rooms or hallways.

To Use steam mods in other games i think the best way i found is the following: if you go in to your darkest dungeon folder, then you backout untill you are where you have the "common" folder. Go into that, the go in to the folder named "262060" which is the appid (thats what is its named in steam,just look at what it says in the adressbar when you are at the store-page for the game) of the game when you are in the folder "262060" you will see many folders whith many numbers. These are the id:s for the mods (look at the links to steam-pages of mods (for example the one you linked above and look at the end of the link). If you look inside one of these folders, you will see that it looks just like a mod folder. which means just copy the wanted mod-folder from there to the mods-folder in game and you are done.
