YuYuHakusho Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Hey Etrius VanRandr! You have helped a lot of people on this thread and I couldn't find any helpful advice anywhere else. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I also have the permanent underwear bug. I downloaded the sseedit and deslected everything. I clicked the SOS core esm. I found the SOS_LitemUnderwear under items. I right clicked and removed it, then hit yes on the are you sure prompt then saved it. I then closed the program. I got back into sseedit and deslected everything, clicked SOS.esp and went under armor addons to slect and remove the default underwear then did the same under the armor and removed SOS_DefaultUnderwear. I then saved and closed the program. I deployed my mods in vortex and said yes to using the changes I made. Then I got back into the game. I expected no schlong to appear but one did anyway on my character. I restarted schlong of skyrim and waited for it to load. I am in a fresh save so I am next to ralof after we escepe the cave. I have eager npc's so I went to initiate sex with him to see if the loin cloth is still there. It is. His dick clips through it though....however my character doesnt have a loin cloth. Dead npcs dont have loin cloths. What part did I do wrong?

Probably another mod referencing the SOS loincloth, check any other mods. I think SLEN has its own underwear/loincloths.
ideronme Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 For anybody who's a complete idiot like me: if you're using SSEE then SOS.esp is named "Schlongs of Skyrim.esp" and you don't need to close out of the program, just save the file every time you remove something. For steps 14-16, go into your MCM for SOS and hit the "reset sos" button. You might need to hard save and then reload the game after, but I spent hours being stupid and looking for "SOS.esp" when that's not what it was named at all.

Skyrim 2. SOS 3. TES5Edit Steps: -1. Make a clean save, don't remove SOS. Make sure you're not wearing any armor and that you actually have the bug. 0. Make a backup of Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.ESM and Schlongs of Skyrim.esp. 1. Open TES5Edit. 2. Deselect everything, then select SOS - Core.ESM 3. Wait for everything to load. 4. Find "SOS_LItemUnderwear" 5. Right click, and hit remove. When the warning pops up, hit "yes". 6. Close and save the masterfile. 7. Close out of TES5Edit, and relaunch it. 8. Open SOS.esp 9. Find SOS_DefaultUnderwearAA under Armor Addon. 10. Remove it. 11. Find SOS_DefaultUnderwear under Armor. 12. Remove it, then save the file. 13. Now launch Skyrim and load the affected save file. YOU SCHLONG WILL BE MISSING, THIS IS OKAY. 14. Go into the SOS menu, and change your schlong to something else, the close the menu, or restart SOS. Once this is done, your schlong will appear. 15. Go back into the MCM and revert to your desired schlong. Make another hard save, then quit the game. 16. Reinstall/restore SOS's default ESP's and ESM's from before you edited them with TES5Edit. 17. Everything should now be working as normal. Optionally, you can just leave SOS without reinstalling. I literally followed everything but problem appears yet. I also tried to leave SOS without reinstalling/restoring but when I try to undress-and-dress character SOS overlaps armor. I also noticed that it happens only with a specific custom armor, while other custom armor does work well Any suggestion? Edited March 18, 2022 by zhein

The guide is intended to allow users to fix the issue without altering their load order or using a save cleaner. Firstly, completely uninstall SOS and any mods that use it. Second, you want to load the game and make a clean save. Next, download a save cleaner like ReSaver or SaveTool for LE/SE. Then. fully clean the file, removing unattached instances. Finally, reinstall SOS and the other mods you uninstalled before. The problem should be fixed.

Then during the session gameplay I decided to turn him in Werewolf thorough Growl mod. I noticed that bug only later and so I didn't realize that Growl was the cause. Indeed just yesterday, I reverted him to human form because I wanted him as (Scion) Lord Vampire and here it what happens today: I open game, load the save game, and voilà: SoS work perfectly! I think I found an incompatible mod to add at the list xD

No lmao it's really not that hard to figure it out, this topic has 104,000 views. That means out of 104,000 people, you're the only one who hasn't been able to figure it out. It's porn modding, not bioscience. This process is so easy my Janine the Bad Dragoness body pillow was able to figure it out. Edited May 8, 2022 by Etrius vanRandr
kelixto Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Wow! This is the closest thing I've found to a proper solution, still just slightly out of reach ...attempting to perform this "no schlong" fix in SSE with SSEEdit and SOS v1.1.4 (just can't figure out what isn't right, there being no additional options, besides "No Schlong" in the Player/NPC Settings menu of SOS) atLoad: "SOS Warning! SchlongsofSkyrim.dll not found, or the installed version is too old. Found -1, expected 300004. Please exit the game and reinstall SOS." (I've reinstalled numerous times) Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction for a manual method as it seems there is some regard for using Vortex to manage mods. Alternately: Is there a way to set one of the three schlong options manually using SSEEdit? ...at the end of my rope, so I appreciate any advice/guidance at this point. so, Thanks in advance. Hope you're all having a wonderful day/night!!

Thank you, my friend, and just guessing that because SOS was installed using a mod manager (Vortex), it needs to be Uninstalled & Removed? ...then manual install, found here: sos-full-manual-install.jpg (951×725) (filesor.com) Edit: I've also downloaded Nexus Mod Manager at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods and now running the Nexus Mod Manager (0.83.6) - Skyrim Special Edition. Don't install SKSE plugins with a manager.
sofzx Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) Fucking hate SOS dude. Dammit. 1 year ago and still got this damn issue. I'm using SAM, with the scholong version of SAM (same sos mod with sam meshes) and still get this damn fucking issue. God. I wish there was a way to control the d without SOS. Even on new savegames I still got this stupid bug and I'm using just mod organizer 2. Thanks again for this guide. Edited September 23, 2022 by urbon

Do a full uninstall of SOS using the MCM menu, remove the ESP, make a new save, use SaveTool to clean it, and then load it with SOS new.
