Pay attention to the messages sexout prints that you have to click OK to when it starts. They are not there for no reason.

I know it refers to SexoutDrugs.esp. I was asking which mod/part of Sexout that .esp belonged to.

Um... Don't ask me how I did it, but now it's all royally fucked-up. I replaced the previous version of the compilation with latest one and fired up an older savegame (so I don't lose my progress). At first it messed with the male skins, but I could fix that. What I couldn't fix, however, is that the camera and the PC don't reset after the scene ends. And if the PC does reset, the camera still stays afloat (in UFO mode).

 

As a special treat, the issue from the very start ("wanna have some fun") has disappeared again.

 

Everything's as up-to-date as it gets.

The 'old' issue is still because of SexoutSex.esp; a conflict with SexoutStraponSex.esp? I don't know which one is responsible for the "toy" option. I'll change the load order and see if it still disappears.

 

As for the far greater issue: Shutting the upgraded version of the compilation off again and reactivating the one I used before has resolved the issue. Both asked me to authorize some overwriting but I don't think that that's the reason. I'll try and upgrade manually and see if the error comes up again.*

I don't understand the question. It doesn't belong to any mod, it is a mod, called "SexoutDrugs". It's old, no longer maintained, and broken.

Oh, okay then. I didn't find a dedicated thread anywhere (and that "is broken" prompt didn't come up in the last compilation version), so I got a little confused there.

Those messages all come from the sexout esm. you said in your post you're running the beta, that's why it's not in the compilation.. unless kain included the beta in the compilation (naughty naughty!)

 

Edit: the file is from here, the thread is actually called "sexout drug dealers" and hasn't been updated since January.

At any rate, I'm going to download and update every mod/file that's been updated since I downloaded the compilation a week or so ago.

 

So far, I've checked the latest non-beta version of the SexoutNG Data file and that definitely didn't cause the camera/character mess. One down, a lot to go.

 

 

On the plus-side: Placing SexoutSex.esp after SexoutStraponSex.esp in the load order permanently resolves the conversation issue I started this thread for. Both can be used unreservedly, without one of them disappearing.

Maybe was someone else, I can hardly keep track myself.. sorry.

 

That issue with sexoutsex and straponsex sounds like one of them is modifying a conversation record and the other one is putting it back. You can check this in FNVEdit by just selecting those two and letting FNVEdit load the requirements like sexout and scr.

 

Then do a conflict filter (default is fine) and look in sexoutsex.esp for conflicts in the dialogs. You'll probably find one where sexoutstraponsex changes some dialog option, and then sexoutsex changes it back.

JulienJaden, Prideslayer, I appologize to you both. I did rename the file, and two others that no one has caught yet besides. Not gonna make any excuse, I done fucked up. Doing a new update to fix my fubar, but you don't need to redownload if you already have it. Just do the following filename changes:

Sexout Sewerslave.esp = SexoutSS_C.esp

Sexout STD Test.esp = SexoutTestForSTDs.esp

Sexout How About.esp = SexoutHowAbout.esp

 

Again, my appologies for being an ass. I'll be posting these fixes and doing an update in the compilation thread.
