chunsiang Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Strange, I never have white face or black face problem in skyrim. The mod is for cbbe and cbbe body is included in it. Try to re-install your game and mods?
foreveraloneguy Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I had something similar happen some time back. Never did figure it out. Finally ended up reinstalling. Hasn't come back since.
igora Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 i know the solution ! i know the solution ! well it worked for me at least ... 1) load your game without changing anything, play until you get black/white face 2) and do "alt + tab " to get to your desktop ) 3) and then a "alt + tab" (chose skyrim ) you should get a black screen for me at least i have to double 'alt + tab' to get back to skyrim once i'm on my desktop, you might only need to do it once, if so skip step 4 4) redo a "alt + tab" ( chose skyrim ) and voila ! you should be back on skyrim without black/white face tell me if it worked best regards igora
srayesmanll Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 The only time I have seen this particular issue is when I installed BBLS (Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite). He has an optional file for using apachii shy hair with the included NPCs. If you installed the hair option first, then installed BBLS main, all of the included NPCs (females, never used the male version so cannot verify that) had basically that opposite face - white face/dark body, dark face/white body. When I uninstalled and reinstalled in the correct order (BBLS main, then optional hair), it corrected immediately. Maybe you're seeing something similar. Did you add any type of face/hair mod or options before this started happening? If so, try removing that mod/option and see if the problem corrects itself. Or trying uninstalling the added hair/face mod and the body mod and reinstall in a different order. It could also be a load order issue (check it with BOSS). Finally, in the NMM there is a menu option under tools to "Toggle Archive Invalidation". You should not need to do this in Skyrim according to everything I've read (in previous Bethesda/Obsidian games it was an absolute requirement when adding textures, meshes, etc), however it shouldn't hurt to try it. Not sure if the "Toggle..." is available in other mod managers (Wrye, others) but I think most of them have a similar option.

igora Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 rename your character to "two-face"? i can't help you sorry, the alt + tab worked for me so i didn't look any further into the problem
Jimbodan Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I had a similar problem with only a unp body (from this site) installed. The face was noticeably paler than the body (especially in direct sunlight). Vanilla game was fine. I was using the breton race, but i think the problem showed up on the other races as well. Oddly, i installed the ashen race off nexus and that seems to have fixed the problem for me. I don't know why that fixed it or if it would work for everyone, but maybe someone has the same problem I did. Hope this helps.
