also does  HTD come into play ? like does it overwrite anything ?

HDT should not overwrite anything.

XPMSE should be loaded last.

Are those the only mods you're using? Bodyslide and Outfit Studio is an external app to the game and it really doesn't matter when that is loaded. Race menu, too, as it only affects character creation. As TnTnT noted xpms should be loaded last. The others can just be loaded.
